Excellent value to price ratio.
By Kamal Prasad
After doing some research, I ended up ordering this Hisonic wireless system. The unit is very low-priced compared to systems with similar specs that I found elsewhere on the web. It does not feel very professional holding the equipment in one's hands. They are made mostly of plastic and feel very light without the batteries installed.Anyway, I did extensive testing before the time I actually needed it, using it near a running microwave, refrigerator, cell phones, etc. The only problem I ran into was that if the speaker using the microphone received a cell phone call, you could hear the chirping that speakers do near cellphones in the recording. Here is a sampling of the videos for which the audio was recorded using this system. All audio was recorded using the XLR balanced output from the receiver to the 1/8" inch jack of the Kodak Zi8 (http://www.amazon.com/Kodak-Pocket-Video-Camera-Aqua/dp/B002HOPXE0/ref=sr_1_9?tag=imagineonlinecom).Using one lavalier: [...]Using one handheld and lavalier: [...] (please note that the reason for the low quality of the handheld is the person using it was not speaking into the microphone. The next example is much better.)Using one handheld and lavalier: [...]Using two lavaliers simultaneously: [...]There was a couple of times when the mics cut out inexplicably but for only fraction of a second that did not cause the meaning of what was being said to be lost. For what I needed to do and for the money (actually, this system ended up being way less than the money I had available to spend), this system worked perfectly.

Good F/ Intended Use
By Carl Ray
For the money, these systems do the job. This is the 2nd purchase made of this system for our church. Use them for dramas and youth events. Your first impression will not be a good one. There will be a label on top of the receiver that comes off to the touch proclaiming it to be a "Quality" product. Batteries are included...dead batteries. And the lapel mic clips are rather cheap. Surprisingly, the sound quality is pretty good. Much better than expected. One unit has lasted for over a year with no problems. I don't have to worry about having one damaged or lost. Plus... two mics on one mixer channel. That helps when you are limited on the mixer.

Unreliable connections
By Johnny
Nice set of features for the price, but the two wireless transmitters for the lapel mics had shoddy jacks. The result was that when you plug in the mic, it will sometimes connect and fall out, or it will connect physically but not electrically.Sound quality seemed adequate for spoken word; but I can just imagine it failing while a speaker was using it. Back it goes.
