4Tandem Rack
By Ken Sturrock
This rack works well. Essentially:1.) the fork holder swings out to the side of the vehicle (can be set up to go either way: right or left).2.) You lift the front of the tandem up and place the fork in the skewer and then clamp the skewer down.3.) You then lift the rest of the tandem up and place the boom tube in the cradle. At the same time, the arm swings back in line with the rack.4.) You tighten the arm locking bolt down and attach the straps that go over the boom tube and lock down in the holder.I routinely load and unload the tandem by myself using this rack - but I prefer to have help. I am not particularly strong, but I am tall. The user has to lift the bicycle up and on to the boom tube holder while simultaneously pulling the front arm straight. If the sidewinder is mounted on the passenger side of the vehicle - you will also have to lift the tandem high enough so that the chain clears the boom tube cradle as well. I'm 6'1" and stand in the rear door sill. Some people think that the Tandem looks ungainly perched up so high - but the sidewinder's design is very versatile and still lets you open the hatch (if you have one) a little bit when the bicycle is in place. It doesn't stick out to the back at all with no bicycle in place. The only problem we've had with it is one of the boom tube "buckles" for the strap fell off somewhere - but Yakima shipped us a replacement immediately for free. I have seen other Sidewinders with the same missing buckle - so I wouldn't suggest that you always leave the sidewinder on the car, unless you somehow tie the buckles on to the cradle with a bungee cord or some such.We use our Sidewinder on top of our '06 Prius and it sure makes transporting the tandem a lot easier. The rack is pretty expensive - but for us it was well worth it.

1yakima sidewinder
By freeski1057
I bought this tandem rack to replace an older Rocky Mounts rack with the hope that it would make the process of getting a tandem on to a roof top rack easier. Unfortunately I've been very dissapointed. To begin with the cross bars I had on my vehicle weren't wide enough to allow standing the bike up to place the fork into the mount without the chain rings hitting the side of the car. I purchased wider bars which did solve that problem. The rack is designed to swivel out the fork mount, stand the bike on end with the front tire off, put into the mount, then lift the bike and swing it around and drop the bottom tube onto a support. In theory it's supposed to be a one person operation, but my experience as a 5'8" person is forget it. Even with my wife assisting by pushing the swivel fork mount back inward it was very difficult to set the bike down onto the support for the bottom tube because the chains get hung up on it. This requires lifting the bike quite high and using my hands to keep the chain from catching. Then the weight of the bike sits on the cables which are routed along the bottom of the tube. Finally placing the two straps over the bottom tube to secure it is a major pain as well. I can actually only get one of them on with the geometry of our bike, and the other again requires handling the chain. I have ended up with chain grease on my hands, shirt, and shorts every time we've used it. This rack is quite expensive and poorly designed in my view. Fortunately we purchased it from REI and even though we've been using for about a month they will take it back. I'm going to look at the updated Rocky Mounts tandem rack, the Thule tandem rack or simply stick with our old rack.

5Great tandem mount! Extremely pleased after four years.
By Steve Larsen
This is a really great mount. We have been using it for out Trek T900 tandem since 2007, including hundreds of miles of travel with the bike mounted on our suburban. I can easily load and unload the tandem by myself and do so routinely. The bike is held in a solid fashion and I never worry about it.I recently picked up the bike from the shop where I had it tuned up. When the staff offered to help me load the bike, I instead offered to demonstrate my Sidewinder by loading the bike myself. I like this a lot better than the Thule and Rockymounts, because of the cradle (the others simply have a longer tray with a wheel strap at the back). I believe that the cradle holds the larger tandem bike more securely. The cradle has some "trenches" for cables to lay in, so that the bike doesn't rest on the cables.I noticed one reviewer was unhappy that he or she had to lift the bike extra high to get the chain over the cradle. If you have an option to place the mount on the other side of the rack (left vs. right), that inconvenience should be eliminated. The same reviewer had a narrow rack which put the front sprocket in contact with the vehicle. My suburban is quite tall and presented a similar problem. I simply place the back tire on a small stool when attaching to the fork mount--much cheaper than purchasing longer crossbars and I get to keep my rack no wider than the vehicle, which I prefer.I love this mount and have no regrets after four years of use.

4Perfection......almost!!
By Mr. testb4ubuy
I have owned many cordless phones ever since the 1st 46/49 Mhz phones came to market. I've owned Vtec's, Uniden's etc. After hours of research, I bought this 2 line Panasonic. I've had it for about one year now, so I can give you a review based upon a good period of time owning it.Here's the very basic reason why I selected this model:1- Two lines2-Expandable3-5.8 gig frequency so it doesn't interfere with 2.4 gig device in my home. Here's why it's the best cordless I've ever owned.1- I could test it out for awhile before adding/investing in addtional handsets.2- It fits in your hand like a normal phone. Many of the new cordless phones are getting so high tech looking and sleek that they are either hard or uncomfortable to hold. The Panasonic handset is the most comfortable on the market. Ever try cradling a cell phone or too small cordless between you neck and shoulder for a moment while you pick something up from the floor? Not easy, unless of course it's this phone.3- The part of the phone that touches your ear is designed properly. Many of they newer competitors phones are convex at the earpiece instead of concave. Very uncomfortable... Panasonic...Perfect!!4-Big LCD display. No need to squint to see this one.5-Normal sized and properly spaced keypad buttons that are raised. You won't make an accidental dialing mistake with this phone and you won't feel like you need a pen to dial it.6-You can set the volume of the phone to retain the setting you like. On many of the competitions phones, you may have to adjust the vol. to where you like it, every time you pick it up.7-Great, very CLEAR sounding speakerphone built into each handset. Very useful when holding for i.e. a customer service dept.8- Natural sounding on receive side. Good volume and sound reported by people I'm talking to. (Many competitors phones I've tried have low receive and/or transmit volume). On this one, no one has ever asked me, "Are you on the cordless"9-Very rare that I ever get a broken or choppy signal. It's solid. It even works 100% around my yard/outside.9-Good battery life/runtime.10-Loaded with features. Like the fact that if something went wrong or one phone broke, my directory is still in other handset I have if I selected to download them initially to other phones.11- Durable!! We have dropped this phone from about 3+ feet many times and it has not broken yet. What needs improvement:1- Missed call indication is almost useless. To clear it you MUST scroll through Caller ID past the missed call to clear it. Not a big deal...just useless.2- (On the built in Voicemail)I can't save messages "as new" once I've listended to them. Problem if my wife is not home; then I see the message light blinking, I press it to listen to message. Of course the message turns out to be for my wife. But, now that I've listened to it, the message lamp is extinguished... Wife returns and has no idea there is a message for her. I have to leave her a note telling her to manually listen to "saved messages".3- No battery backup. This was one feature I liked in some of the older VTEC phones. In a power failure, the battery backup let you continue to use your cordless phones. I don't think Panasonic or any other manufac. has a cordless 2 line with Battery backup. So if you are looking for a great cordless 2 line... This is the one!! Almost perfect, but a definate against the competition.

5Do not order from Ace Photo and digital

The product is great, but be very careful on who the vendor is. I found this product for much less and sent back the one that I bought from ACE PHOTO AND DIGITAL and for a $240 product, they took $40 for a restocking fee.

5Great Roof Top Rack
By Don Jr
I just got back from a week camping trip in the Adirondacks with this unit. It hauled my Gary Fisher Kaitai perfectly. I used it backwards so I could have my girlfriends bike and the canoe on top as well. It's easy to use but you must read the instructions so you know how to set it depending on whether or not it's outside the towers. I drove about 450 miles doing around 60-68 mph on winding roads and never had an issue. This rack is good for bikes with disc brakes.

4Harder to install than other Yakima bike racks
By Garrett Schiff
I used to have two Steelhead bike carriers but one was damaged during an unfortunate incident involving roof-mounted bikes and a low parking structure (ouch). I bought the Viper as it seemed like an upgrade, and I must say it's a bit more solidly build than the Steelhead, but there's a few things I don't like.I don't keep the racks on my truck all the time, only when I'm going biking. Taking off and mounting the Steelhead was basically a clip-on task, and didn't change the skewer length so it was always ready to fit your forks. Putting the Viper on involved completely removing the skewer bolt and re-threading on the lock mechanism from the end, having to thread it on an overly long length of threads. And this is done by having to hold up the lock lever and turn this rough knurled knob that always chafes my fingertips, and it's tough to do because only a small edge of the knob is exposed when you lift up the lever. Then when it's mounted, you have to put your bike up and adjust the threading again to get it to the right width and tension for your bike forks. Taking off involves the reverse unthreading.I know the different design adds security, but for me it's an annoying extra several minutes and raw fingertips each time.

5This thing is THE BALLS!
By J. Floyd
Yep- Rockin Yakima! I trust a $6500 Carbon Fiber Trek roadie and a $1500 Trek MTB to this thing. You can install w/ your eyes closed. Always remember to put a piece of masking tape above eye level on the inside of your windshield once bikes are mounted on top- this will remind you of just that- and help you avoid low clearance Taco Bell drive throughs! :-P

Just drilled my first 2.5" hole through an 8" un reinforced concrete foundation. Used a solid core bit from Hitachi and it went through like butter. I have not used it a lot, so I would need another year of use to say it is a good/great rotary hammer. For the value, it is great to date!

Sony Cybershot DSCM1 5MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom & MPEG4 VideoBuy Sony Cybershot DSCM1 5MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom & MPEG4 Video

Sony Cybershot DSCM1 5MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom & MPEG4 Video Product Description:

  • 5.1-megapixel sensor allows for photo-quality prints up to 13 by 17 inches
  • Camera features 3x optical zoom in a unique vertical orientation
  • Large 2.5-inch free-angle rotating LCD design makes viewing effortless
  • Non-extending lens and Real Imaging Processor mean near instant startup and shutter release
  • Supplied Cyber-shot Station makes camera-to-TV/PC connection quick and simple

Product Description

Sony DSC-M1 Cyber-shot(R) Digital Camera is a remarkably tiny camcorder and digital-camera in one. A key reason is that video and still images are all recorded on MemoryStick or MemoryStick-Pro digital media. It doesn't use any tapes! It's also the first Sony Cyber-shot(R) Digital-Camera to offer MPEG-4 codec for excellent video motion recording and, in a sense, is styled more like a camcorder than a compact digital camera. Cyber-shot(R) DSC-M1 is a 5.1-megapixel digital still camera that pays particular attention to the role moving images play in preserving memories, and even more attention to making it easy to use. The camera, a slim, matte-black device about the size of a deck of cards, is held vertically, and its 2.5-inch articulated LCD swivels upward and rotates a full 270 degrees. This new shooting orientation provides more surface area to access both the menu navigation buttons and two "hot" buttons for direct access to recording stills and video. The outer edge of the LCD also has buttons serving two functions. While the LCD is extended and the camera is in record mode, the buttons can be used to record, and toggle back and forth between stills and video. When the LCD is facing outward, but flush with the camera's body, the buttons can be used to playback stills and video, turning the camera into a personal media viewer. Up to 640x480 VGA movie images Large 2.5 LCD viewer Auto and manual focus modes Programmed and manual exposure modes Self timer mode Approximate Unit Size - 2 x 4.5 x 1.1 inch

5Christmas came early
By Tim Mouradian
This is a great little camera; it takes high quality stills andamazingly good videos. I got this gadget as a replacement for myold sony, and so far have been very hapy with both thenew functionality and the quality of output. My only comment is that the software included with the camera islargely useless. The video produced is in the MP4 format (which isbasically QuickTime on steroids) so you will need to get a decentMP4 player.I've downloaded a MP4 player called 'mpegable', which comes as astandalone application or a plugin for Microsoft Media Player. It works very well in both configurations. If you plan on converting video to other formats (such as writingit to DVD) you will need to invest into a decent converter,I've used QuickTime Pro with much success. As a side note, my favorite DVDSource Creator will not workwith MP4's produced by this camera. The video produced (at highest settings) is:Size: 640x480Frame Rate: 29.97 fpsBitrate: 2734 kb/sAudio: 2 channelsSample rate: 24000 HzDepth: 16 bitBitrate: 123 Kb/secOn a close inspection of the video, compression artifacts arevisible, but overall the quality is very good. The low lightperformance is adequate, keeping in mind that a 3CCD camcorderit is not. The camera does not have image stabilization, so tryto minimize or otherwise smooth your hand movements.I had to throw away my old memory sticks and related hardware(adapters, etc) because this camera takes a new format memory, called memory stick duo and duo pro. I've purchased half a gigduo pro from ebuyer which the camera recognized with no problems. The quality of stills is very good, there are many new menuoptions to play with. What stands out immideately is the new'magnifying glass' mode, and the 'hybrid' mode. The latter allowsyou to shoot 'hybrid' video/still combinations. Not sure of howuseful is that.--- 1 week update:I had opportunity to take more pictures and video with thiscamera. I am still upbeat on the video capabilities, picturesare not that simple. First off, it is my conclusion that takinggreat pictures with this camera is possible, but it requires someserious tweaking with the menus, reading the manual andunderstanding the basics of photografy. If everything is left in 'auto' mode the pictures will come outblury, default flash is simply inadequate, every single picturetaken indoors will have red-eye problem. There is also sporadic'purpling' problem, when the background turns feverishyellow/purple for no particular reason. This is what I did to workaround the problem:1) Switch OFF auto-mode (i.e. keep Program mode ON)2) Switch OFF multi-spot nonsense back to regular spot focus3) Switch ON Red Eye reduction function4) Switch OFF AF illumination5) Increase flash from normal to flash+6) Picked 3 megapixel format (this is arbitrary, I have no use for 5 megapixel pictures)7) Try to pick a correct ISO (100/200/400) and light balance by hand before shooting.8) Try to hold the hand absolutely steady during the shootThis results in nice, crisp pictures. However, I feel the vendorshould have programed the auto mode so the users don't need to gothrough menus/setup all the time. The last thing I needed is tolearn the importance of histogram and shutter speeds. To conclude, an automatic, forgiving camera it is not. Youwill not be able to take pictures at a party (or anywhere elsefor that matter) without changing a menu setting or two. However, understanding the way the camera works and reading themanual once (or twice) will improve the quality of the pictures.I would deduct a couple of stars from my original 5 starassesment, but I don't think Amazon allows you to do so on oncethe rating is assigned.

2Wait for the M2
By Richard
The shot to shot time of my old 3 Mega Pixel camera could not keep up with my toddler son and my digital camcorder was to large and bulky to conveniently use. The Sony DSC-M1 seemed to be exactly what I needed. It could take quick 5 Mega Pixel shots and movies with stereo sound in the same package. Against my better judgement, I decided to take a chance on the camera before it was thoroughly reviewed by the experts. After picking up the camera from Sony directly, I realized this camera had design flaws. Namely, the camera shots tended to be blurry. I used the auto mode for all those shots. Initially, I thought the problem was due to the camera's interesting ergonomics (L-shape when in use). However even when being extra careful in taking the pictures, they still tended to be blurry. Mr. Mouradian's excellent Amazon review indicated the same problem and he actually went as far suggesting setting tweaks to correct the problem. I also noticed that the shot to shot time was still too long (2+ seconds). The few images that seemed to be less blurry did not look any better than those taken with my old camera. The movie quality is actually pretty good though not as good as my digital camcorder (that's expected though). However, the convenience was good enough to offset the drop in movie quality. So let me sum up the PROs and CONs of this camera:PROs:1. Movie quality is pretty good, convenient, and the file sizeis small enough to store over 50 minutes on a 1 GB duo memorystick.2. The LCD is large, bright, and can be rotated in such a way totake self portraits (NOTE: There is no view finder on thecamera).3. The size is small enough to carry in your pocket.CONs (in AUTO mode):1. Picture quality is not noticably better than my 3 MegaPixelKodak.2. Most of my shots were blurry.3. The shot to shot time was not satisfatory (2+ seconds andsome shots took far longer for some reason).CONCLUSION:This camera needs another iteration before being worth the asking price. I would wait for the DSC-M2.

4Capture all your memories with this beauty...
By photograddict
First off I'm using a Mac with iphoto so I won't be reviewing the included Windows software. For Mac owners, iphoto works great with this camera and the camera also loads as an external disk for manual transfer of pictures and movies through USB.Pros:- small size- fits nicely in my jean pocket.- excellent video quality at very reasonable file sizes- full motion video w/ stereo sound. There will be some artifacts on playback on a tv with fast jerky motions with the camera or low light situations. I'd say the playback is VHS quality or slightly better, but don't expect DV quality. I get about 22 minutes of video off of my 512mb memory stick which isn't bad at all when considering the quality of the video. -MPEG4 playback works perfectly well on my Mac without any extra software installed.- excellent sized lcd screen. The screen is very large and makes sharing freshly taken videos or pictures a pleasure- excellent camera options- almost every option you need is there in the camera, however I just stick to "auto" unless I'm getting really fancy.- Picture quality- great 5 megapixel quality, nice lens. Honestly, I prefer Canon to any other digital camera brand, but the output of this Sony definitely is beautiful.- hybrid mode- a gimick? actually it isn't. I find this function quite usefull and powerful. with the camera in this mode the camera always records 5 seconds before hand so whenever you take a picture the camera will save the already recorded 5 seconds before the shot and 3 seconds after the shot. So you get a photograph sandwiched between two short video clips.- swivel LCD screen- makes taking shots from any angle a breeze, including shots of yourself. Also it is very nice to have a swiveling LCD when taking movies.- charging base- the design of the base is very nice. It has a sliding mechanism that pretty much guarantees that you will always plug in the camera correctly and smoothly.-3x zoom- a lot of comapct digital cameras have a 3x optical zoom... but they don't allow you to zoom while recording video. With the Cybershot DSCM1, you can zoom while taking video! This option really makes a difference between a having a neat movie function on your photo camera and having a photo/movie camera. You can also use the digital zoom for even closer shots.- stereo mic and speaker- this camera not only comes with stereo sound recording capapbilities but it also has a speaker so you here audio playback with the video you just shot. This is a function that is missing in most digital cameras that play movies.Cons:- size- yeah I know, it was a pro too. But this camera is larger when compared to the many, many small 4-5 megapixel cameras out there now. If compact is your main concern, then there are quite a few smaller cameras with the same resolution and full motion video (although the quality of the video is another matter).- battery life- A full day of picture taking and movie making will drain this battery. Photos themselves don't seem to drain the battery badly, but movies do seem to drain the battery quickly. To be safe I'd invest in a back-up battery.- Inputs- to connect this camera to your computer or a tv you need to hook it up to the camera base. That means you have to take along the base with you when you are traveling. A minor annoyance, but worth mentioning.-flash- I have a smaller Canon with a stronger flash than this camera. The flash on this camera is indeed weak, but that is to be expected with a small camera. The weak flash does cause blurry pictures if you focus on something outside the flash range. To remedy this I change the mode to night mode, but then the picture becomes blurry because I don't have a tripod on me 24/7. So pick your poison. I find the flash works well at about 3-5 meters.-badly placed AF light- fingers will sometimes block this light if not careful, took me about a day to get use to it.- busy design- really not even a real con, but also worth mentioning that there are a lot of buttons on this camera. I found the use of this camera very easy, but don't expect the button layout to be like other generic cameras.- price- expensive for 5 MP camera and expensive Sony Memory Stick media.- Swivel design- again a pro, but a con also. Try giving this camera to someone else and then try not having a heart attack when they try to pry the camera open the wrong way. I recommend to ALWAYS open the camera first before handing it to another person to play with.Conclusion- If you can handle the price, I definitely recommend this camera. It is perfect for family outings, trips, or just everyday memory saving. Great quality video that is unmatched by any other digital camera out currently whenever you need it and great pictures at the spur of the moment... all of this tucked nicely in your pocket. I take this camera everywhere with me and it so far has been well worth it.

5High Quality Product from Germany at good price
By CA Gator
I had a major project that required me to drill over 400 1 1/2" holes in concrete aggregate and started to do internet searches for bits reviews to help me decide what bit to get. Regretfully, I wasn't able to find any reviews comparing hammer bits. Because I needed this bit only for this project, I decided to get this bit because it was the cheapest 1 1/2" spline bit on Amazon at the time. When I received the bit, I was pleasantly surprise to find it made in Germany like the more expensive hammer bits.I have now drill 200 holes in very rocky aggregate and the bit is holding up great with virtually no signs of wear.So based on this experience, I definitely recommend people to buy more Hitachi spline bits as they seem to offer the same quality as Bosch for a significantly lower price.

5A Bit that Turns my crank
By Thomas W. Lehan
I have not used the bit for very long yet, but I am very pleased with its ability to bore through the concrete. Quality appears to be exceptional so far and I do not see this changing. As a landlord, a question to ask another landlord is would you rent to the tenants again and that answers all the Questions in one answer so would I purchase another item from AMAZON. Where Can I Buy Extreme Board

Extreme BoardBuy Extreme Board

Extreme Board Product Description:

  • Great Balance Tool!
  • Non-Slip
  • Using Medicine Balls will create more difficulty

Product Description

This ultra challenging board taxes your balance on several planes.

The Extreme Balance Board effectively trains balance, stability, coordination, ankle and knee strength, and core power. The board also stretches and strengthens the ligaments and tendons in the legs. The Board moves forward and back, side to side, and at all angles. To make the board more difficult, the wooden dowels may be removed from the fulcrum, creating more movement from front to back. For even more difficulty, the polyurethane rings may also be removed. The adjustability and range of movement separate this product from the rest of our balance board line. The boards are handmade, and provide a good starting point for athletes and individuals wishing to progress beyond the wobble board. Board is made of durable birch, and has a non slip top.

5Very nice
By Ubuntu
This board is one of the best I have ever used. I find it to be more challenging than indo or vew-do boards. The fact that it allows you to work on side-to-side balance as well as front-to-back is a major bonus. However the price is far too high. You can make this same design at home for less than $30. Despite the outrageous price, it is a 5-star product.

5Extreme Board
By Lee
I purchased my Extreme Board on Amazon. My order was received promptly. The price for the product was lower than most places. The only regret I have is I found out that there is a newer version of the ExtremeBoard that has a new and improved hand grip on the board for easier handpositioning when you use it as a pushup board and the weight of the newer apparatus isslightly lighter (which would be easier to carry around). Other than that, I amquite satisfied with my purchase.Lee

5Not Easy, but training is beneficial
By Samuel Chon
hi,i would say that this product out of the box is not easy to use. I chose this above the vew-do products.I have used it for 4 days now and I can see some improvement, but initially, i could not keep the board balanced for even 3 seconds. When using the product, you can feel it in your legs and calves. it really works the stabilizing muscles. I also do push ups on the board with my hangs where my feet usually are.overall, i expect more balance and stability in snowboarding and other sports.Sam

3Not the same battery
By R. Osborn
This battery fits and works with my Hitachi drill but is not the same size as the original. The only problem I have is the drill will not fit in the carring case. After seeing other reviews I call Amazon to fine out if it was the original replacement battery. They did not know and told me that I could return it if I was not satisfied. Bottom Line this battery will keep your Hatachi drill working and is cheaper than buying a new drill. These replacement battteries are hard to find so if you like your old Hitachi drill which are made better than new ones, this battery will work.

5Heavy Reading from the Best in the Business
    By Lyle
This is considered hands down one of the (probably THE) BEST strength training books ever written. Siff compiles everything that is needed for top level athletes (primarily their coaches) to succeed in their strength sport of choice. Westside Barbell used this book for much of the groundwork for their incredible powerlifters' programming. Supertraining provides the basis for all of the most important strength training methods, and therefore leaves an open avenue to how to utilize the information in actual training programs. Its very heavy reading, but a vital part of anyone who engulfs themselves in strength knowledge's library. The sky is the limit with Supertraining, you can apply the principles in so many ways you may not have considered before, or maybe isn't even in use by anyone else either, as was the case with Westside, before everyone else copied their winning methods. Get it!

    5OUTSTANDING
By Eco Mama's Guide To Living Green
Where were toys like this when I was a kid? HABA's games are created by people who really understand the way children think and allow imaginations to soar. They're creative, original, and non-toxic. I would have gone crazy for this game and I have to say, even as an adult I am enchanted by it. I admit I am a bit of a Europhile, and I've yet to see anything from Haba that I don't like, so I'm biased. If you have a desire to get away from corporatey feeling toys and make sure your kid is playing with safe materials, their stuff fits the bill big time.HABA's A World of Adventures is actually comprised of four games which can be played individually or together as "The Great Adventure." Two of the games are more difficult and each take between five and ten minutes to play. All of the components are absolutely beautiful to look at.The first game, Journey Through the Jungle, takes you through the jungles of South America where you'll encounter ancient Inca temples using color recognition. Game two, Expedition to Antarctic, utilizes memory skills to travel across a treacherous ice desert as the adventurers try to make it to the igloo. The third game, High Above the Ravine, a dice game where the goal is to get across the dangerous bridge and make it to camp. The last game, Across the Volcanoes, where players hurl wooden raindrops at the volcano while getting across the terrain as quickly as possible. The peices are wooden figures that your child might want to play with outside of this game, they are extremely well made and attractive. The boards are like works of art. This is one of the most visually appealing board game I've ever seen.I highly recommend A World of Adventures. If you get one new game this year, consider this one. This game is educational, embraces different cultures, geographic themes, and the spirit of adventure and travel as well as utilizing cognitive skills. I can't say enough good things about it. Way exceeded expectations!

5Willy Wonka would be proud to own this game
    By MEJ
My daughter received this game from Santa last Christmas, and with its colorful high quality wooden and metal construction it's easy to imagine the elves toiling away to make such a great gift. To play, the colorful wooden "candies" are placed on the metal bars at the top of the vertical wooden playing board ready for their trip down the rubber conveyer belts. Each player (up to four) picks which colored tin they want to catch their goodies at the bottom. The roll of the licorice bar die starts the players turning the conveyer belts to direct the candy down through the factory to their own tin. You get more points for the candy that matches your tin. But be warned, a roll of the die can shift the tins into a new position lining your candy up for someone else's tin. If that's not enough to contend with, there are purple "crackers" that also must be moved down the conveyer belts which an opponent can direct into your tin causing you to lose points. We have so much fun playing this game and I can see it easily becoming an heirloom due to the high quality construction, the uniqueness of it and the Willy Wonka like fun factor.

5If you do complex interval workouts, this expensive stopwatch is totally worth the money
    By Joshua Hillis
This watch will time intervals of any work time, rest time, and total interval count you choose. If you like the Tabata Interval this watch is priceless. If you have workouts wrapped around different rest/work ratios this stopwatch is amazing. This watch has a countdown for the work interval and the rest interval distinct from the chime for the end and beginning of the work and rest interval so that it can be used hands free and without looking at the watch to time your intervals.Once you've used this watch to time your interval workouts, any other timing method (like having to actually WATCH the clock) seems unnecessarily cumbersome. If you do any kind of interval workout at all, this stopwatch is worth the money. If your workouts aren't very complex, you could get by with a much cheaper stopwatch.

    4Great for interval training
    By C. Carlos
I purchased this stopwatch to do interval training for boxing and cross training and so far it works great. I wish the alarm in between rounds were louder, but it is loud enough for me to hear while I workout with the music bumping loud. The price is expensive, but this feels like a durable item and it automatically shuts off if it is not in use so it saves batteries. There are many other features I have yet to use and when I get around to using those then the money I paid for this might have been worth it.

A bit expensive if you don't need the capability to view your laps as you go. However, this is exactly what I wanted and it works tremendously well.
