Product Description

The Wayne 1 HP 720 GPH portable lawn sprinkling pump is designed to draw water from ponds and rivers to sprinkle lawns or gardens, clear standing water, and empty or fill tanks. Wayne PLS 100 lawn sprinkling pump

Works, great, throws alot of water, we use it at the lake using a 1" suction hose to pull water out, and a garden hose on the other end to sprinkle. If you need a portable sprinkler pump this is a great choice.

Good Pump

Good pump. With a "y" at the pump discharge and 200' of garden hose on each leg of the "y", with about 6' of elevation on each hose, it will still run two sprinklers nicely.

Lawn Sprinkling Pump Rated as one star!

I started using this pump in August and it worked very well. In October I tried to use it again and the motor would not run. I called the company and they were not helpful. They said that I could send it back for them to look at but they most likely would not fix it since I had used it for more than a couple of hours. So beware that the Wayne company will not stand behind the pump. They said that my pump had been thermally tripped and would not believe me when I told them that it had never been tripped. Now I know why there are so many Wayne pump products for sell as refurbished. If I send my pump back for repair, they will not repair it for me but will resell it as refurbushed. This is poor customer service. I will never purchase another Wayne product again.

Bad impeller design, cheap plastic spins free on motor shaft.

Within 1 months time I had 2, 1/2 half horse power cast iron sump pumps flood a basement because the plastic impeller connection to the motor shaft had enlarge to the point where it spun free on the shaft. They were both the previous version of the 1/2 HP cast iron pump. The CDU800 has the same plastic impeller. One pump was 3 years old from date of manufacture, the other 17 months. Both locations only pump ground water and run just occasionally when it rains hard. Without any local parts and service agents, you have to buy new and then order parts and repair if possible. Having the cast iron housing and stainless screen mean nothing if the impeller is just plastic junk. My previous Zoller pumps had lasted more than 10 years. They were made in America. Wayne leads you to beleive that they are made in America & Canada, but a local pump repair shop said they were Chinese pumps. Parts are only available from Wayne and it takes 5 days to ship from Hamilton Ohio (or whereever) to Indianapolis Indiana. Replaced both with Zoller, But I am not sure these are even made in US any more.

This is the third Wayne pump I have purchased for my french drain in basement over the last 18 yrs. They have all worked very well and are very dependable. I always replace after 6 yrs for peace of mind . Always make sure the pump is sitting straght up for the float to work properly.

Quite and powerful

I bought and installed the Wayne 1/2HP sump pump 2 years ago in my basement sump pit. I replaced a 20 year motor that had finally stopped, due to muck at the bottom of the steel lined pit. The only purpose of this pump is to push out the water generated from my furnace and the humidifer that goes into the floor drain and then into a 55 gallon sump pit. No outside drainage tile. So the pump only operates about 7 times a week and pumps out the water out into the sewer line which is located 8 feet above the pit. A powerful pump that works quickly when needed. No problems

Beware of switch out with Simer unit

I ordered the Flotec unit through Amazon but supplied by Northern Tool and received the Simer equivalent. I called Northern Tool and they said they don't carry the Flotec and it was a mix up with Amazon and themselves. Northern Tool offered to take it back, but I kept the Simer unit since I wanted to get the install done and they offered to refund the shipping ($23.xx). The Simer unit has been installed for about 3 weeks now and works great. I installed a large filter before the unit and 3 smaller filters after the unit with a pressure gauge after the 3 filters. Without the unit plugged in, the well pump cycled between 22 and 42 PSI. I plugged in the unit and now the pressure reaches about 68-70 PSI. There is a delay before the unit kicks in, sometimes longer than others, but it always kicks in. I wish I had installed one of these 3 years ago when I moved into this house. Side note. It has 1 inch inlet and outlet ports and I had 3/4" piping, so I bumped up the piping to 1" before the first filter(which was 1" anyways) so it has a few feet of 1" piping before the pump. This was to prevent cavitation that the instructions said might happen if smaller piping was used. I would recommend this unit though the Simer can be found for cheaper than the Flotec. I knew the Flotec name and had done research on pricing and reviews. Amazon has a seller selling the Simer for cheaper than the Northern Tool's "Flotec"/Simer, so if you want Flotec brand like I did, don't buy from Northern, and if you don't mind a Simer, buy from the other seller on Amazon. Update: Amazon refunded my purchase price of 339.99 after I told them of bait and switch and now Northern Tool has sent it to a collection agency. Beware of Northern Tool!! Better Business Bureau, here I come!!

Leaker

Started leaking after five years. To replace because of a burned out motor or problem with the impeller is one thing, but a catastrophic leak should just not happen. Thinking it was really a fluke and lightning won't strike twice, I then attempted to replace it with the 01 version, but it was defective upon install. Sucker me three times? I don't think so. I'm getting another brand.

Purchased this pump for my father because his city water pressure was bad and needed to increase water pressure, first pump I received did not work contacted seller and he went out of his way and sent another pump in which i got in just three days. great service .

Solid indoor broom, even if a little pricey.

I was looking for a well-constructed heavy duty push broom that would handle a variety of household and garage tasks. There are plenty of small, fragile, cheap push brooms out there and I wanted to avoid getting stuck with one of those.This broom has performed well so far and has a solid "hand-feel". I've put it through its paces - especially in the garage - and would probably buy another one. It'll handle dust, dirt, litter, and small garage debris with ease.I have any complaint, it's only that I feel the price is a bit steep. That said, I'd rather pay a little more for a lot better quality and I feel this was a good investment.

HIGH SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION TEACHER

You can imagine how hard students are on equipment, so when I make purchases for our lab, I need a product that is dependable, durable and will withstand rigorous day-to-day abuse on the job. Great kit, not so good packaging

Everything one would need for a typical chimney installation except in my case i needed a firestop for the 2nd floor.Attic insulation shield is not like the instructions show, but all one-piece welded construction, and incorporates a telescoping radiation shield tube. Good stuff, but the packaging needs improvement as there were a few pieces that were dented or squashed out-of-shape. These were corrected with some TLC (be sure to wear leather gloves). The roof flashing is all aluminum, not stainless steel. Also the stovepipe adapter will not slide into "HeatFab brand Satety-Pipe", but will fit "Simpson" brand pipe.
