Great Battery!
By D. FARMER
I bought this for my 2003 Roadglide. As advertised, it is the same dimensions as the Harley battery with one small nit: the terminals are slightly recessed as compared to the Harley battery. Bending the cable connectors slightly with a pair of pliers easily fixed that. The bike fired up strong with this battery right out of the box.

Get your motor running, head out on the highway….

If you’re looking at this battery then you are a do it yourselfer, and if you’re like me, ride a Road King (FLHR). If you’re my age, then you remember vent tubes that sprayed acidic gas and liquid on the frame, along with half a dozen caps which had to be unscrewed and the electrolyte level inspected at every other gas stop. But there was always water in a container with a fill tube about three times the diameter of the hole on a motorcycle’s battery, so life was good. If you were touched by the gods of smooth pavement and good weather, you might be able to milk two years out of that battery before it couldn’t throw a relay switch. Man o’ man, have these batteries come a long, long way since then. These sealed batteries eliminate that lousy vent tube, cell caps, and the destruction which would be wrought upon the battery box and frame. Plus you probably won’t have to deal with corrosion at the terminal and brush and clean them every year. Yep, the good ol’ days. This little beast (26 lbs) can throw a starter into a hyper-space velocity, and get the most stubborn of cold blooded, V twins to fire up with barely a bead of sweat to show for the effort. So I was more than happy to replace my foreign made battery with this model made in the USA out of the purest of lead. Does it really make a difference? I don’t know, but the last year this battery has performed like the first day and without so much as a glance under the seat. But there is one secret you must know so you don’t end up like me and install this thing twice. I would post the URL (link) but the Amazon bosses turn it into some secret code that won’t work. So I’ll type you through it.Go to Google and enter this into the search dialog –Installing an ODYSSEY PC925LMJThe first result should be a PDF file about a slight adjustment to the battery cable. Like a man, I took out the dead battery and dropped in the new Odyssey and could not get the cables to reach, then got frustrated, went all caveman and did an internet search to see what I did wrong. The answer was simple with the two pages of instructions with many pictures. But for some reason my hands were sweaty from being stupid; and I had a bit of trouble lifting the mighty Odyssey out of the box, which must be empty to make those adjustments. By law, I couldn’t wait for a day, because I’m a man.The battery has performed exceptionally well and even though I made the installation a little more difficult, I haven’t checked the water level once. Life is gooder.

Way too expensive!!!!
By pokermster
Bought two of these batteries in summer of 08. It is summer of 11 now and both are needing replaced. Don't buy the long service life claim. They have no longer service than regular sealed batteries.
