Product Description
America's Leading Dual Tire Pressure Equalization System Saves You Time and Money.
Dual tires have a set of problems all their own. In motion, the inner tire's temperature increases due to in-board brakes and poor air circulation. This causes increased air pressure, which expands the inner tire's diameter. As a result, the dual tire configuration is now distorted- the diameters are unequal. Crossfire is a pressure equalizing and monitoring valve that is mounted between dual tires. It bolts easily to the lug, hub cap, or drive axle end. Properly mounted, air freely flows from one tire to the other, maintaining equal tire pressure and load distribution.
The Crossfire Dual Tire Pressure Equalization system:
This Crossfire System is for ONE dual tire set and comes with:
- Bracket A: installed on the 5/8"" or 3/4"" drive axle bolts of both disc and spoke wheels. If the wheel has a hubcap, it can be snapped on over the bracket.
Bracket B: mounts directly on the 1-1/4"" lug bolt.
Bracket T: mounts on the 1/4"" bolt that secures the hub cap to either a disc or spoke wheel.

Great Equalizer
By Tom Glander
I own a 2011 Ford Super Duty F350 dually. As anyone who's owned a dually knows, accessing the valve stem on the inside tire is no easy task. So when I heard about this device, I thought good thoughts.I've been using this device for over a year. It has been flawless. Easy to install, and extremely easy to use. I custom mounted the unit to the big chromed plastic hub on the wheel, using my own system. The brackets that come with the system are ok, but weren't optimal for my installation requirements. They worked, but again, I always fiddle with stuff and improve on it.I only needed to drill a hole in the hub cover, and then could mount the Crossfire using the bolt and nut that came with it. Did this on both sides. The install looks great. If you don't do a custom install, you can't put the center hubs on the wheels because the bracket gets in the way. So customization is the key here for cosmetic reasons ONLY. If you don't care about those chromed plastic hub covers, then you can just bolt the units on and drive. (It's never as easy as it sounds, but if you're good with a wrench, you'll have no problems.)Keeping pressure the same in both tires, and making it easy to monitor is what I believe makes this unit desirable. Plus, there's the visual indicator, so I always know if I'm at 80 PSI, above, or below. Pressure changes with temperature. I haven't had to add air for 6 months. If you're considering one of these, I recommend it greatly. And remember, the reviews you read here or anywhere on the Internet are based on people's experience with a product, and experience levels with mechanical things vary. Some people are adaptable and can customize products, even to the point of fabricating additional parts if needed. Others, not so much.Your experience will certainly vary from mine. However, this product is terrific. I wouldn't recommend driving a dually without it. I'm extremely satisfied and give this product the highest rating possible. It's even possible to swap the hose ends on the unit, to set up a mirrored side to side setup, so each wheel looks the same for the layout of the hoses. Don't follow? That's ok. It's just a detail. The product works perfectly well right out of the box. I'm just a tinkerer and fabricator.Enjoy this product. It works very well.

If you own an RV with duals this thing is great
By G. Todd
Anyone that owns a motorhome knows the feeling- "Does that back tire look OK? Yeah, i hope so because I don't have time to remove the cover and the air pump at this gas station doesn't have a dual chuck"Now the downside- 99% of people will need to have it professionally installed. In my case I've got a 26 ft Class C (Winnebago Outlook) and I knew I couldn't do it myself. A tire dealer installed them and it ran $150. Was it worth it? Oh yeah. It was worth it to take a glance and know that both tires are properly inflated. Plus its supposed to be better for the tires to be equalized. Great product.
