great delay pedal

first off, I'm not a line 6 fan... the line 6 pods and amps I've toyed with always sound processed, digital, sterile...this pedal is a definite exception. other tonecore pedals might be as well... and now I'm more apt to try them... this sounded better than a tc electronic flashback... more analog. has a great feature set and great tap functions.ugly, heavy pedal, but built like a tank, stereo in/out, great sounds, built in tap... btw I scored mine used and saved 50% over new price... if I'd paid full price I'd still be happy

Stunning HD

I've owned 3 HD sets. A week ago I purchased a new 50" LCD RPTV. A few days later I exchanged it for the Toshiba 52HMX84 that used DLP technology and I'm much happier. The problem was with the screen-door effect that is most obvious in the LCD RPTV technology. If you get a 42" set or smaller that utilizes this technology, I doubt it will be much of an issue. The Hitachi 42" LCD had a gorgeous picture! But if your in the market for a 50" or greater TV, you really should spend the extra 10 to 20% and get a set with either DLP with filled vias, LCOS or DILA (JVC's LCOS) technology. These technologies do not produce a bothersome screen-door effect.My set is going in a great room that has large windows in it that bring a lot of light into the room. The Toshiba was the brightest set, by far, out of 8 that I looked at. The JVC was every bit as good as the Toshiba in so far as clarity, but it came down to a question of style and availabilty for my purchase. I liked the Toshiba styling the best and the picture was just superb using the latest HD2+ DLP™ Chip with Full 1280 x 720 Mirrors with Filled Vias. I love the 52 inch size and I recommend not getting the 62" if you're going to use this in an average sized living room. You really need to be sitting 15 to 20 feet away from a 62" not to see any video artifacts inherent in the design. So if you like a big picture for the theater effect, go with the 52" if your sitting 8 to 15 feet from the set. If your sitting closer than 8 feet, then consider the 42" size which will give you greater clarity. Whatever you get, don't freak out when you get it home and turn it on for the first time. The first thing you're apt to view is something in 320 standard definition. Analog or Digital, it doesn't matter; they're going to look crappy on 50" or larger sets. 320 lines of information is just not enough data for a large TV. DVD (480p) will look great, but the Toshiba 52HMX84 will look stunning when watching programs like CSI:Miami and Law & Order both of which are broadcast at true uncompressed 1080i over-the-air (Be aware that cable and satellite co may compress the HD signal). The Toshiba has two HDMI inputs for a future HD-DVD player along with your existing STB. In my case I use a Hughes HTL-HD Direct TV set top box with a DVI out. My STB is only 6 months old and already the industry has switched from DVI to HDMI connectors. When I found out they moved the target on me again, I had to go see my therapist! Anyhow..the internet retailer, svideo.com has DVI to HDMI cables for $20! So don't get stiffed buying a hyped Monster cable for $120 or one of those fake gold plated adapters for $50!The Toshiba has great features and excellent remote, solid connectivity options, beautiful styling, plenty of aspect ratio otpions, extensive POP and PIP even for HD. It's probably going to take me a couple months to find all the bells and wistles. Best of all Toshiba is offering 18 month interest free financing right now at Video Only which is where I purchased my set. If you dont like buying over the internet, many retailers will come close if not match internet + shipping pricing these days.Good Luck!

Excellent set with vibrant colors

I have suffered through the decision to purchase HD set for several years. Now I have decided that the time has come and I could never catch up with the technology. After researching this field for a while I have decided to purchase the Cinema series 52HMX84.I have also considered Mitsubishi's WD-52725 and Samsung's new HL-P5085W. After thorough comparison I have excluded the Mitsubishi just for their Mirror-like front screen. Even on 725 series, they failed to make it anti-glare. You could see yourself reflecting in that tv, not to mention lamps in your living room. It is a great-looking TV, and you could remove the screen, but I did not feel like spending that kind of money and then mess with screen removal. Samsung also looked great, I just thought that colors on Toshiba were deeper and richer. All the rave reviews on the internet helped too. I bought it from a local retailer that had no return policy - he is the only one carrying Cinema Series in the DC area. I was freaking out because of that, but after they delivered the set and I hooked everything up I was simply stunned. I have Denon DVD 2910 dvd player and Monster HTS 3500 power conditioner (that DOES make difference) and HDMI cable from Monster. Finding Nemo was so stunning, like you watch aquarium screen saver on your PC. Indeed, sometimes you do see rainbow effect - but only when very bright white is on black and you move your head - but my wife could not see that. I find this tolerable because it does not happen often. I chose Cinema Series because it had 2 HDMI inputs - if you do not have AV receiver that could switch those, you would need 2 - one for your DVD and one for satellite receiver. HDMI or DVI are unquestionably better than component inputs. TV has plenty of customization options and I do plan on having it calibrated. I highly recommend it.

Good but broke down quickly

The television worked well when it worked. Unfortunately, only fourteen months after purchase, the television broke and now we're faced with no TV or a $500 repair bill. Toshiba only warranties this set for a year, and we are two months outside of that. The set is far too expensive to break down so quickly, and is very expensive to repair.Purchase with caution!

The Greatest Snare Ever designed

The Ludwig Chrome Snare.. Is World Reknown. Just as the name Ludwig is World reknown. I have been playing the drums since 1967. And have always drempt about Owning a Ludwig Chrome Snare. The sound of this Snare drum is unmistakenable. Clear, Crisp, Sharp and full toned. I replaced my other Snare with this Ludwig. Awesome drum for a crappy drummer.

This drum is sweet. It looks amazing coming out of the box, a classic, beautiful design. I swapped the stock Weather Master heads for an Emperor Coated/ Clear Ambassador Reso. Also swapped stock snares for 42-strand wires. No complaints about sound from this beauty.My only complaint to date is the strainer. The standard P-85 strainer would often get snagged when moving the snares from off to on. This sucks big time when you're in the middle of a song, fighting with the strainer to co-operate. I got desperate and almost snapped the arm off it once. This may have been a problem on my end, seating it incorrectly or something. I'll soon swap to a P-86 strainer.Also, watch out for fingerprints on this! The chrome looks awesome when it's clean, however fingerprints really stand out.. and drive me mad. Minor detail but thought it was worth mentioning.Overall, very good drum. If mine got stolen or destroyed in a fire I would buy another.

Very nice, impressive specs.

I used this in my kitchen for a water dispenser. I actually bought a different faucet along with a water heater so I have both cool and hot filtered water coming out of the dispenser. Hope it extends the life of my water heater.One item to note. Be sure to install it where you can move it into a bucket when changing the filter. It comes apart and all the water spills.The flow of the water is very adequate for filling mugs and getting some cool filtered water to drink.I really liked the specs for the filter as it appears to do so well I felt comfortable not buying a reverse osmosis unit, which is what I originally thought I would do. I didn't like the waste water of the osmosis unit too.

Great product at a reasonable price

Excellent flow rate. I have one on the 45' sailboat and one in the kitchen at home. Eliminates all taste and odor from the water. Easy to install. Home unit sits on the cabinet floor in the back of the cabinet so little usable space is lost although unit can be mounted off the cabinet wall if needed. Filters last a long time. It would be nice if they offered more upscale faucet designs in various finishes.

Excellent quality teleconverter

I've been using the Raynox teleconverter on my Canon Pro1 and I am very happy with the results. I mostly do bird photography which requires a long zoom. This lens is relatively lightweight and as sharp as the Canon teleconverters. It has a resolution of over 260 lines/mm which results in excellent sharp pictures with my 8MP cameras, even when viewed at 100%. Highly recommended.

An AWESOME Lens!

I have a Minolta Dimage Z2 digital camera. This lens works perfectly with my camera. The images are excellent, and the lens is lightweight and well made. The only complaint is that the adapter that came with it was plastic and I just didn't trust my expensive lens being attached to my camera by a cheap little plastic ring that could break if overtightened or too much stress placed on the piece. So I had to purchase a separate aluminum adaptor. I recommend that you do that and also purchase UV filters for the front and rear fittings of this lens as the glass elements are right at the ends of the tube, easily damaged or scratched.This lens is HIGHLY recommended as an asset to those who do nature photography. I have gotten lots of great "up close and personal" shots of my backyard birds with this lens.

Don't use with a Canon S3

This lens does not work well with a Canon S3 IS. Only a very small area in the center of field is in focus, bluring heavily toward the edges. There is also severe color fringing. I understand that this lens is great on many cameras, but the S3 is not one of them.

Don't but from this supplier-- EXPIRED

The brand is fantastic but after purchasing from this supplier I've noticed all their products are expired. My face broke ou after a few uses and I have been using Ultracalming for over a year now with no problems before. It's best to pay the crazy prices at the stores that supply Dermalogica.

I have tried many cleansers but this is by far the best cleanser. I have sensitive skin and having tried vairous products i always find myself going back to this one. ITs very light, soft and a lot goes a long way. It doesnt sting ur eyes and it is fragrance free.

great scrub!

Dermalogica is great quality....stopped using for years. Don't know why I ever stopped... expensive but it always produces great results consistently!!! I am almost 40 with oily forehead & monthly pms breakouts with resulting hyperpigmentation. I just started dermalogica line again with Chanel le blanc serum with good results. Seller also shipped with high end samples...thanks for the free samples!!! I will be back again 4sure!

I use this product along with the Dermalogica medibac clearing face wash for a few years now. I 've had acne problems since I was in grade school and tried different brands over the years. Once I found Dermalogica I've used it ever since. I recommend everyone with acne problems to at least try it out.
