4This is NOT an Auto Switch!!!
By R. Lewis
Uhhh. I purchased this with great expectations of auto switching as advertised. THIS DOES NOT AUTO SWITCH! Even though I had it out of the box a few minutes, it does look like a good switcher (other than the fact that it does NOT Auto Switch...

5Pharos Bluetooh Dock Kit
By Mark Burger
Great little device. Using the Pharos GPS without the dock as it comes from Microsoft Streets is cumbersome and a hassle. What with all of the wires hanging out to your PDA and the cig lighter. With the dock everything is perfect. Just put the Pharos with the dock on your dash and you can monitor your progress on the PDA. Takes about 10 seconds at a stand still to get a fix then you are all set. Good way to teach the kids about maps and directions. I haved used it on my bicycle and while hiking. Just up put the Pharos on your shoulder with a bit a velcro.I don't think I would own a Pharos GPS this size if it wasn't bluetooth. Would be great if it had a magnetic bottom so I could stick it to the top of the car.

4What DC charger?
By Neal C
The unit works well but it states is comes with a DC charger. My mistake was assuming this was a cigarette lighter charger. No, it is an adapter to be used with a PDA. I don't use this with a PDA, I use it with a laptop. It can be charged with a USB but then what is the point of having it connected to the computer, I wanted wireless.

5Fantastic product
By M. Hansen
After 30 days. This is a great hammock...seems small at first but it very comfortable holds my wife and I at the same time. We've literally fallen asleep for a couple hours while listing to music as the dusk turns to night. Oatmeal color hides stains. Duracord is soft to the touch and dries quickly after rain. Haven't had critter issues yet. Weaving looks nice and appears durable. Stretch is adequate without becoming a problem. Steel and wood pieces are nicely finished...overall a terrific and relaxing addition to our yard.

5Top of the line, excellent - used entire summer
By K. Biswas
Absolutelty top-notch. I left it out in rain, shine and fog for 6 months now. Don't have the energy to get it inside each time it rains (and oh boy, did it rain this summer in Dallas!). Each time sun shines back, my hammock is as great-feeling, as shiny and as taut as new. This weekend I had a party in my backyard, and my guests turned on the rough heat a little bit - they were even using it as a swing, three adults at a time. I was a little concerned, but at the end it was as if nothing happened. Kind of the feeling you get after you complete your first cross-state long drive with your Honda or Toyota - you are concerned whether your car is OK, but that trip was not even as much as a dent on its mind-boggling robust engineering. Pawleys rocks!Mine and my wife's inexperience at the beginning resulted in a very scarily tangled up knot - all the hammock's ropes seemed to be tied to evry other piece of rope and passing through every other hole. But we slept on ot for a night, and gave it another shot next day. An intricate amount of mathematical calculations saved the day, and the hammock was straight again. It was us to blame in the first place - be careful to handle the hammock the right way. While rolling up, use the wood bars at the ends as anchor. Do not try fancy styles or get inattentive while rolling it up or down.

5Better than ever
By LeLe
Having had Pawleys Island Hammocks before, I was glad to see the addition of the Dura Cord product line. I was a little apprehensive about the "feel" of the new material, but it is actually nicer than the old cotton one, and looks beautiful. Average lifetime of the cotton was about 4 years for us when left out all the time, so we will see about this one, but I trust the brand, so assume it will be better.

4Worth It
By Mike B.
Ordered this unit and even though it took 3 weeks to get and 1 peice broke on the first use I am still giving it a 4 star rating, here are my reasons:1. They called me back to let me know the first unit got damaged in transit and they were sending out a replacment. Although I did have to call and inquire as to were my order was to initiate the return call it is still understandable.2. The part broke and I called the 800# on the back of the instruction manual and without hesitation they asked for my address to send me the new part. SOLID3. The unit works great and since my on-site plumber had one as well I was able to use his CO2 brass tee to complete my project and it worked great.A few hickups is no reason to be disgrunteled and the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the 3 reasons above and it takes more CO2 than advertised to freeze a pipe.

520'' springer fork, chrome.
By Motorized bicycle Punks
Very VERY satisfied. Looks amazing. Super sturdy, very little work in assembly. This is going on my 20'' motorized bicycle project. it's coming together amazingly. 66cc two stroke and it's going to maybe top out around 27-32mph. These forks housed my 90mm Sturmey Archer drum brake / Dynamo hub flawlessly. I couldn't be happier.

4Which Canon Multifunction is right for you?
By diljs
First off, if you're in the market for a printer, you can't go wrong with a Canon. Canon printers consistently beat out the competition in independent tests for print quality. Their items are elegant, well designed, and most importantly, ink is affordable. We all know the razor and blade scheme: sell the printer below cost and make it up with pricey cartridges. Canon, however, saves you a lot of money by including the print head with the printer and not on each cartridge. Because of this, genuine Canon cartridges can be had for around $12, while 3rd party cartridges, which many claim work just as well, can be found for as low as $2.If you've already decided on a Canon multifunction, lets see which model is right for you. Canon's current market list is as follows:MP130 - New model, and the most affordable yet. Copy/Print/Scan 18ppm black, 13ppm color 2 ink tanks No auto sheet feeder! Card slotsMP390 - Has a fax, About half the cost of the MP7xx's. Copy/Print/SCan/Fax 18ppm black, 12 ppm color 2 ink tanks card slotsMP750 - Older model - exactly the same as mp780 but no fax. Copy/Print/Scan 25ppm black, 17 ppm color 5 ink tanks Built in DuplexingMP760 - New Model - geared towards photo enthusiasts. Copy/Print/Scan + Special Photo Features 25ppm black, 17 ppm color 5 ink tanks No auto sheet feeder! Built in Duplexing *Unique photo features: 2.5 inch lcd screen Built in film adapter for 35mm slides or negatives can print directly from negatives Card slotsMP780 - Does it all except for the mp760 photo features. Copy/Print/Scan/Fax 25ppm black, 17 ppm color 5 ink tanks Built in DuplexingNow, let's look more closely at some key differences between these models:*Fax: The first thing you should do is decide if you need a fax or not. If you do, you should choose between the MP780 or the MP390. If not, don't rule those two out just yet, they may have have other features you can't live without.*Note: There is NO auto fax/telephone switching on these models if you wish to use the same line for faxes and voice calls.*Number of ink tanks: The next important thing you should look at is whether you want to be able to replace each color individually or not. The MP750, MP760 and MP780 all have 5 individual ink tanks (photo black, black, cyan, yellow, magenta), while the MP130 and MP390 have only 2 (black and tricolor). The cost of each cartridge is about the same, but you will waste some leftover ink by throwing out the MP130 or MP390's color cartridge when just one color runs out.*Photo printing: If you're planning on printing a lot of photos, you should probably go with an mp7xx. These have a superior print head, as well as the 5 separate ink tanks. The MP760 is especially noteable with all the features Canon has added specifically for photos. These come at a price however, as the MP760 does not share the auto sheet feeder of its MP750 and MP780 cousins, or the fax of the 780.*However - If you plan on printing directly from memory cards, beware! The mp750 and mp780 do not have card slots! The 2 cheaper models and the mp760 do.*Auto sheet feeder: The mp130 and mp760 do NOT have an auto sheet feeder. All 3 of the others do. An auto sheet feeder is very useful when doing a lot of scanning or faxing.*Duplexing: The mp7xx models each have built in duplexing.*Size: The mp7xx models weigh around 30 pounds and are quite big. The MP390 is a smaller, and weighs 18 pounds. The mp130 has a tiny footprint for a multifunction printer, and weighs 14 pounds. Some features that all of Canon's current MFPs share:*Copying: Each of these models has a copy function, and all have the same resolution (600x600 black, 1200x1200 color).*USB 2.0 connection*Pictbridge direct photo printing support*All 5 models are great looking and will complement almost any decor. My recommendations:If you want a great price on an excellent printer and don't need a fax: MP130If price is an issue but you still need a fax: MP390If you can afford an MP700 series and don't need a fax, card slots, or the MP760's photo features: MP750If you need its exclusive photo features (but no fax or auto sheet feeder): MP760If you can afford an MP700 series and need a fax (but no card slots and none of the MP760s photo features): MP780

5DID SOME RESEARCH...BEST BRAND/ PRINTER!
By J. Labbe
After hours of research on every brand of printer (Epson, HP, Lexmark, etc.) Canon was the overwhelming and best choice. After deciding on Canon, I purchased the PIXMA MP 750. This being the newest at the time, early 2005, was also the printer with all the features I needed. I almost got swayed into an Epson after finding out how bad HP reliability is but found out that Epson has some problems with their Print Heads going bad and/ or drying up. This is an expensive problem from what I understand since not only the print heads are expensive but only a "trained pro" can replace it. On Canon printers, anyone can change the print heads, although I have not heard of many problems with Canon print heads. Also, on any printer, Always...Always turn the printer OFF when not in use. Do not allow ink jet printers to stay in an on or standby mode for long as this will allow any printhead on any brand printer to dry up. If the printer is off, the printhead is automatically covered to extend the life of it. To address an issue that it took me a while to find out...WHY IS THE 5th INK A 2nd BLACK INK? The second black is a black ink to enhance photos mainly. It is a PIGMENT black ink (ie. Epson DURABrite inks) that Canon says increases the quality of the other four Dye-based inks. If you are thinking that you have seen many other printers with the option to have 6 inks for photos...dont worry, this printer, with its ultra-fine printhead, does the greatest job of any HP, Epson, or other 6 ink printers! Also, many people complain about USB caables not being included with MOST printer brands...COME ON, think about it, the cost of a $15 USB cable (average cable cost) will have to be passed on to us in the price of the printer. With this fact in mind, if USB cables were always included, next time I buy a printer I would be paying for a second USB cable which I do not need...one would be unused. TIP - I got a top quality, 10 ft USB printer cable on Ebay for under $4 with shipping included. Just shop around first...you are already online reading this review! THE GOOD...Great looks,THE best paper handling system out there...no jams,Ease of use,Two paper feeds,Photo print quality is the best...even with only 5 inks,The Finest/newest print head in the price range ($200-250),Flat bed and sheet fed batch scanning,Individual ink tanks,Good software bundleTHE BAD...None after 2 months of use!!!Update...no bad after 5 months of use!!!

5Well designed multifunction
By R. Olson
I had originally planned to buy the Canon MP130 but chose this model instead since the launch of the MP130 in the US was delayed. In retrospect I am glad that I went with the MP750 despite the increased price and size. Print quality is generally excellent, especially when printing on treated inkjet paper. I keep regular cheap paper in the bottom cassette, and keep the nice stuff in the automatic sheet feeder, which makes it easy to switch. The printer is also very quiet compared to other inkjets I've owned, and does not have as long and obnoxious a startup/warmup sequence either. I like the fact that I can replace each color ink cartridge individually. The scanning and copier functions are quick and produce high quality output. I frequently use the double-sided printing option, which ends up saving a lot of paper. The only minor complaint I have at this point is that the unit emits a very slight hiss whenever it is plugged in (even if not turned on) -- I believe this is from the flourescent tube in the scanner. Then again, I have very sensitive hearing and it doesn't bother my wife at all. The hiss is generally most pronounced right after the scanner is used, and then fades away (but never disappears completely). Still, something to consider if you're thinking of putting this in the bedroom.
