I just finished installing these (with help from a friend) and wow what a great light set! They are much brighter than my aftermarket BMW headlights! These were indtalled on my 2007 R1200GS motorcycle, and they light uop the night!...I agree with other people who rated these, that the switch is a little crappy...just get an autoswitch and all is good!!!

Piaa Driving Lights

The quality surpasses my expectations. I don't beleive you can buy a higher quality light/lamp assembly for the money. One reason for my 4 out of 5 star rating, I was a bit disappointed in the wire and insulation of the connection wires. Also, in the lamp intensity and projection distance of the light. Perhaps my disappointment in the lamp intensity was more likely a function of my unreasonable expectations. I would recommend these driving lights for anyone looking to enhance their current night driving needs.

Let There Be Much, Much Light

Got a pair of these to mount into my custom Ford Ranger pickup front bumper/grille guard. There are many night time deer/vehicle collisions in NE Wyoming. Must play good defense to prevent truck ruination. Rec'd. shipment from Amazon seller faster than anticipated! I first bought PIAA 4 1/2" lights and too small for openings, so employed Amazon return system which worked perfectly and promptly gave me credit. So I sent for these 6" models. Upon receipt, I wired switch wire into high beams and aimed PIAA's at edges of road. Not only allows me to see feeding deer in plenty of time, the illumination shed all around the animals also alerts them that something's coming, thereby avoiding their last minute reaction to do something really stupid. Chose these models particularly because of wider 40 degree white light span washing the road edges at least a quarter mile ahead. Easy wiring diagram, heavy duty relay included, easy aim adjustments. Researched PIAA's thoroughly because I wanted the best. Factory tech not eager to help and had a "We are too good" attitude, but bought them from Amazon seller anyway. PIAA's could be better products if their website-touted finned housings were on this model, too; and the lenses were something shatter-resistant instead of glass. Lenses still have a guarantee from the factory, though. Pricey at a hundred bucks each, but they are truly outstanding lights.

Drafting Chair A Go Go

I ordered this drafting chair online after looking for days in the stores and having no luck. This was actually the cheapest chair I could find, but it works like a gem. It was easy to assemble and I use it day in and day out at school as a chair for my podium. Kids constantly sit on it and roll around and it hasn't shown any sign of wear yet. The shipping was super fast and actually came in far before I expected it. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase.

Broke after 2 months and only has a 30 day warranty

Title says it all. Three of the six caster holders on the base of the chair have broken in approximately 2 months. These are little plastic rings molded into the base that you put the stem of the caster wheel into. This results in the caster wheels falling out of the chair base and makes the chair both unsafe and uncomfortable. The only way to repair this is to replace the bottom star on the chair. However, since we are beyond the ridiculously short 30 day warranty we were told we would have to buy another lower half ($25 plus S&H). Bottom line you get what you pay for. We will not be repairing this chair since I can only imagine that it would break again in short order. Spend a little more for a quality product and do not buy this chair.

I Love This Mouse

I've been doing professional computer work for a little over 20 years. I have recently been diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and additionally I have Kienbock's Disease in my right wrist. (This basically means one of the carpal bones in my right wrist is dying.) I am right handed.I've been using this mouse for 3 weeks now, and I'll never go back to using a "traditional" mouse or track ball.I didn't get a mouse pad included as others have mentioned, but I ordered on-line a swivel mouse pad/board that clamps to the edge of my desk. (No screws or drilling involved to install.) This mouse works great with it.I loved that I could program the middle mouse button for double clicks. It slowed me down about 3 days or so to make the conscious effort to click the middle button once instead of double clicking, but now I don't even think about it. I love this because it saves me mouse clicks.I have a small hand, so I don't have the problem of the edge of my hand resting on the mouse pad as one reviewer reported. I did look at several "alternative" mice before trying this one. I think one of the turning points for my decision was finding an article about the study done in Brussels in 2004 where 100 people tested several alternative mice and ranked them. This one came in first.

Absolutely overrated

As someone who uses a PC several hours a day, and most of this use is mouse and keyboard intensive, I've had my fair share of problems with my wrists.since even before hearing of this mouse I sometime held mine awkwardly for a minute every hour or so to have some relief. When I saw the evoluent vertical design I knew immediately this idea had potential.I bought the evoluent2 and, after 10 days of using it, I'm thinking of abbandoning it.on one hand it's true that the position is much more relaxing, but it comes with a whole lot of problems that sort of make you think why only this unknown cheap brand with only one product in their catalogue "ever thought of such a simple design shift"-your hand will touch the pad most of the time with the outer side, lots of skin left on the surface and too much friction that will double the strain on some muscles of your arm on the long term.You simply have to put your weight down somewhere, with a normal mouse it's all good, with this one... well you can't put it anywhere except laying your hand on the pad and dragging it around.-for the above mentioned reason you tend to move the mouse a lot more, at least on the small movments, with the wrist only, the results are that the stress on your wrist only changes in quality not in intensity.-the build is INCREDIBLY cheap, much worse then some $4 logitech clones I've seen-the buttons have horrible feedback and you will often find yourself clicking them by mistake.-while for my work (that requires 3 mouse buttons in most applications) I quite appreciate the 3 buttons, this shifted the wheel in an uncomfortable position, if you use it a lot you will find yourself playing the piano all the time.-the pad coming with it is absolutely useless, small and weirdly shaped, with a gelpad that is both too thick (possibly because the different holding of the mouse required it in some engineer's mind) and too hard.-the thumb button is in a position that makes it not obtrusive during normal use(again because of the different holding) but also everytime you'll need it it will be a weird movment for your fingers to click it.-when the hand needs to go from the mouse to the keyboard for any proper 2 hand typing you loose a lot of time and the movment feels awkward. it can seem stupid, but if yoy do a lot of programming and/or 3D DCC you will find it ever so slightly irritating.. even after 10 days of practice with the vertical rat.basically I found a whole lot of problems I would never have expected, surprisingly enough though I didn't find the one I expected the most: clicking will NOT move the mouse or kill your precision.now I'm trying to hold the mouse slightly differently, with the index resting on top of it and my other three fingers on the buttons, while it allows not to drag your pinky on the pad all the time and still seems good for the wrist, it takes some re-learning of gestures by now radicated in my brain, and the pinky isn't exactly the ideal finger to click something.the other possible holding position is with your fingers on ALL buttons (4 including the wheel), which seems to be even better but means a lot of misclicks.I'm going to give this thing another chance for a couple more weeks, but I'm not happy with it.simply put: I wish I didn't buy it, also looking into other alternative solutions now, possibly put together by some proper company and not by somebody with a brillant idea but without the means to realize a product worth such a high price.

its a sweet mouse but...

I love it, I was having some serious carple tunnel related issues for a long time but since I picked up this mouse I have STOPPED wearing a wrist brace at all.one draw back (make that 2)its to small for my large hands (I am 6'3") not much but enough to be a bit akward at first.the second, it doesnt track all that great if you are a gamer and need that precision. its not bad but definitly not perfect.I would probably go with the newest versrion of the mouse (and plan to soon) it addresses both of those issues and if it does so well will get a solid 5 stars from me

Not Impressed

I bought a pair of these two years ago so I've had some time to "review" them. I did a lot of prior research because I get a lot of windshield time each and every month all over the Rockies. I'm on 24/7 call so I have to pick up and go no matter the time or weather conditions. These lights have been thousands of miles through all imaginable road conditions and they have not served me as well as I had hoped. The biggest problem is the curvature of the bulbs which allows enough upward light to render them useless in heavy fog or snow. Many times I've been out in heavy fog or blizzard conditions trying to optimize the lights positions so I could see to drive. I've never found a spot that really works. I paid a lot of money for a concept that sounds great but that fails to deliver. I've had no problems with the lights or the controls and after all this time the lights only exhibit light pitting on the lenses which I think speaks for the quality of the product. They are great looking on a bull bar and the plasma ion color is really nice but there's just too much light in the air and not enough on the road.

Wanted a set of fog/driving lights but didn't want to install 2 sets of different lights. Found these and thought these are perfect. They are nice lights, alot of wires to install but not hard to follow directions. Been using them in the rain and bad weather using the low fog lights. The high beams are bright and give good distance. Love these lights and glad I bought them.

Excellent Product

I primarily bought them for off road and scarcely populated areas, but really enjoy the sleek look as well. The wiring harness is adequate but should have included a waterproof fuse holder. The lights can be a bit difficult to aim, and force you to really crank down on them to keep them in place. Four split lock washers will solve this. One morning I woke to find one of them had condensation inside, but by lunch time it had dissipated. This indicates to me the light is vented properly. I'm interested to find out the life of the bulb.

We received this item as a gift and its phenominal! It easily straps to nearly any chair and it's great to use as an highchair-replacement for going to friends's homes or restaurants. As our twins grow, we can use it as a booster seat. We've traveled with it alot and really am impressed with its ease of use--and clean up is a breeze, the plastic easily wipes off and we've removed the straps and washed those as well.

These are so nice if you live in an apartment, with twins, and little room to spare. We originally had the quadruped high chairs that didn't break down or hide at all, and a six seater table. So, we had to find a place to stash two chairs for the table. My wife found these and they've been a blessing ever since. We eventually got rid of the quad chairs and moved our other two dining room chairs back to their table.Pros:* Very space friendly. (The back folds down, and the lids cover up the top where they latch. Slides, while still attached to the chair, under our table.)* The trays are dishwasher safe. (If you have kids, you understand!)* Portable. (They take up a little room in the trunk, but it keeps the in-laws from having to have their own seats for our twins)* Usable for many ages. (From the beginning of solid foods up to when your kids cans sit in an adult chair)* Not too many crevices for food to hide in. (relatively easy to clean up with a Clorox Wipe)* Safe (As long as you have a sturdy chair mind you)Cons:* The whole seat isn't dishwasher safe. (Yes, I am being a little lazy there)* Kind of a small base. (I have to put kitchen towels under the seat while it's installed to keep the mess off my cloth covered chairs)When it comes right down to it these seats are spectacular, and well worth the money! Great Item!

We have this exact item but in a different color and we love it. What i don't understand is why ours was only about $25 at Walmart and this one is about double what i paid! The only thing different is the color, IF you get one i'd advise you to get the cheaper one because it's the exact same except a different color unless you just like this color and want to waste the extra money.

Great Coverage - Bright Lights

These lights are very bright. I installed them into the bed of a Tundra CrewMax as cargo lights. They have great, wide-angle coverage. The ONLY reason it did not rate five stars is because of the three position toggle switch that comes in the box. I expected the traditional black PIAA switch, and ended up replacing the toggle switch to better match my dash. Lights are PIAA-easy to install with the harness. The only extra I'd recommend buying with the lights is a long length of split-loom tubing.

PIAA or nothing else!

Quality is not an issue with PIAA. I still have a set of PIAA fog lamps that I bought originally for my 1998 Chevy, now on my 2004 Chevy. These PIAA back-up lights are on my wifes 2006 Suburban, at first she thought I was crazy for adding these lights, but after backing out of the garage the first time she was sold. These lights are bright, my neighbors have noticed the extra light when backing out. These lights can easily be wired in less than an hour, and include a three position switch so that you can activate lighs without being in reverse, otherwise they activate when trans is placed in reverse or can be turned off with switch. Switch can easily mount under dash to be out of way.

Works Well

I put these on the back of my truck and they light the area up behind really well. Can either be mounted by bolting them on or double sided tape. I went with the tape because I did not feel like drilling through my hitch. I also tie wrapped them on because I knew eventually I was going to rip them off somehow. The nice thing about this situation is that they can be unplugged from the wiring and put aside until you can fix them back up.The unit also comes with a 3 way toggle switch to mount in the cab. One position is off, the other is constant on and the 3rd is automatic mode fro when you have it spliced into your reverse wiring. It is amazing how useful it is to have extra light at the back of the truck.

The most detailed 1:18 Jet Fighter to date...

BBI has really outdone themselves, this is by far the best Modern Day 1:18 scale Jet Fighter that you can find. If you're looking for unsurpassed detail this is for you! Including working landing gear with opening/closing gear doors, somewhat customizable payload, folding wingtips, extending tailhook, opening cockpit, removeable ejection seat, optional ladder, and a full articulated pilot (with removeable helmet).

One word to describe the F/A 18 Hornet

Awesome is the one word to describe this BBI offering in 1/18 scale. This airplane "kit" is one which is in the catagory of "must have". Although I am a WWII Luftwaffe (mostly) fan, this modern jet is unbelievable in detail, SIZE, accuracy, weight, construction, and sheer "curb-side-appeal". To summarize: 1) Awesome 2) Overwhelming 3) Must-have 4) Collectable.BBI has other 1/18 scale airplanes, too, which are excellent. I am not shy to tell how good BBI items are.
