Best mobile stand I've used...just a bit overpriced

This item actually exceeded my expectations in quality and simplicity. After using several generic stands with my MK-101, it was nice to have a stand that fit the saw "like a glove" with absolutely no modifications. The casters are good quality (not industrial quality) and both have good quality locks (again, not industrial quality, but much better than what I've seen in an average stand). Once locked, the stand is surprising stable. The stand is pretty much "Idiot Proof," there is only one way to set the saw and it isn't going anywhere once secured. The saw is secured by one simple metal strap and knurl nut taking only a few seconds. As a pleasant bonus, the stand came completely assembled. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it is overpriced...even at about 130 bucks.

GREAT STAND BUT WRONG ONE FOR OUR LISTED MODEL

We ordered this stand based on the model numbers listed. It arrived quickly and set up easily...EXCEPT our tile saw did not fit. This stand was not wide enough. We called the factory and found out that the MK-101 (not the Pro MK-101) we purchased from Lowes is wider than others. We were given the correct stand model number (MK Diamond 169243 Stand with Swivel Casters for MK-101 and 1080 Saws) from MK and ordered it from Amazon. We had to return the 160197 and then order the 169243. The new order arrived promptly and Amazon was great with issuing us a return label and credit on our account. Both stands are well made, easy to set up and use. The casters are just what is needed to move the saw around.

STURDY STAND FOR MK DIAMOND WET SAW

Purchased this several months ago, along with a MK Diamond wet saw. Love them both. Was concerned that the stand would not be solid enough to carry the weight of the wet saw...or would be wobbly when in use. No worry......it's solid as can be and totally without movement when sawing. Perfect stand.

Great saw!

Pros : It works, Good power, Nice designCons : You'll get wet, Stock blade not very goodBest Uses : DIY, Tiles less then 14 inchesI bought this to cut tile for the bathroom in my lower level finish and gave it a test run by tiling my entry way, ~32 square feet with a 2 tile hop-scotch pattern using 13" and 6 3/8" ceramic tiles. Set-up was quick and easy, and I was cutting tile in about 30 minutes. The stock blade left small chips near the cut line so I bought a new Dewalt blade from lowes for $34 and now it cuts like butter with only minor chipping (which I hear is pretty inevitable). Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this product.

Diamond MK-377

When I ordered this saw from Amazon I expected to have a 7 to 10 day wait for delivery. The saw was delivered the second day after it was ordered. Thanks Amazon!The Diamond MK-377 is an excelent saw for the home do-it-your-self worker. Would also recommend it to professional contractors who are working small single-room projects as this saw is extremely portable and lightweigt to carry. Power is excellent for cutting standard ceramic floor and wall tile up to 12" x 12". The saw requires minor assembly and I was able to have it job-ready in less than 10 minutes. Recommendation: Pay particular attention when installing the saw blade. Make SURE the blade is seated properly and the brass 0-ring and blade are seated flat against the arbors before operating the saw. The only "disappointment" I have with this saw is the way MK Diamond designed the water pump. It is almost impossible to seat the pump inside the tub without having the pump line interfear with the saw operation. I highly recommend purchasing a longer hose and installing the water pump in a 5-gallon bucket. This will keep the pump free of debris and will also eliminate the unit from interfearing with the saw operation. The pump on my unit failed within 5 minutes of first-use. I called the MK Diamond 800 number (located on the top of the saw) and received EXCELLENT service from these folks. They sent me a new pump which arrived via UPS in two days. Thanks guys! Excellent product for the money and excellent service from the manufacturer. I have no regrets in making this purchase.

Great for a backyard without a lot of trees

This stand is very sturdy -- great for a backyard without a lot of trees. Since purchasing this stand, we have had several storms with large wind gusts and it has yet to blow over. The color blends very well into a natural landscape. When the box was delivered, the UPS driver dropped it and the bottom of the box broke open. There wasn't a scratch on this stand! Assembly was a cinch. The entire thing was together in about 10 minutes.

Amazon vs. BJ's

Amazon is selling the Pawleys Island stand for $140 - 160 and the SAME stand (Pawley's Island) I purchased on June 24 in BJ's wholesale club for $67.99 and that included a $20 wheel kit.I think Amazon needs to look cloeer at their prices if they want to maintain customers.

Great heavy duty hammock stand

We got this hammock stand for a double rope hammock that we moved from our last house. It's a very heavy stand and was easy to put together because you don't need any tools, it just snaps together with spring loaded buttons and holes. It took me 10 minutes or less to assemble, with just a glance at the instructions. There are only 8 parts and I probably could have done it without the instructions. In the box it was very heavy, but somehow, when it's assembled, it's pretty easy to drag around to find a shady spot.The stand comes with 2 chains and 4 "S" hooks to connect your hammock. The only difficult part was stretching the rope hammock so it was taut enough that it didn't hang too low when someone climbed into it. It took another person helping me, one to pull on the hammock and the other to fasten the hook and chain. It says it holds up to 450 pounds so it's great for 2 person hammocks. It has a very sturdy feel to it and the powder coating looks nice. It will also disassemble just as easily as it assembled and it fits into a box that's pretty compact so it will be easy to store, come winter.Along with my Kindle this will be a great way to spend some lazy summer afternoons.

Should be glass filled composite for this price.

Despite the 2 star rating I am happy with the 18x13x5" version of this case. The hinges are a nice design and are made of glass filled composite. Easy to use and should be very sturdy. The case size is perfect for two pistols plus accessories, and fits in the middle range size that is not common to find. Also has nice foam with two layers being pluck & pull type for a custom layout, and a very comfortable, sturdy handle.All in all if this was a $60 case it would be a 5 star product all day long. Unfortunately, this is a $120 product and the entire case body is made from a flexible composite that has a lot of give in it in the center. I would not trust it to delicate camera equipment or to get tossed around or ending up at the bottom of a stack of gear.For this price it should be made of strong/rigid glass filled composite. 2 star rating is purely because of this, for the price this case is not a rigid/sturdy as it should be. It should be half the price or use a better material. Way over priced for the construction.

Simply excellent

This case is simply excellent. I have several cases, and very honestly wish I had known about these before I bought the others.This case is sturdy but not heavy for its size. It looks as it can withstand lots of abuse. The handle is comfortable and capable of withstanding serious weight. And I am confident that whatever it is I put inside the case will be protected from damage.Other brands may be cheaper, but I seriously doubt they are better.

Sturdy and reliable. Great case hardly with a scratch after a year of use. I cut my foam to fit an MPD32 and it's just enough room.

THE BEST GUITAR FOR ITS PRICE

This Guitar is the best sounding guitar for this price!!!!I play at church with it connected to the mix console and the sound is really clean and gives a beautiful electric-acoustic presence in each song that I play.I'm really happy with this product,if you would need a guitar for a heavy-duty performance frequence, then this is the instrument.!!!

I'm just a beginner

I'm a beginner so I don't know a lot about guitars but my husband plays and he seems pleased with it. Also, it's a really good looking guitar. We just tuned it and I think I'm gonna love it.On a side note, don't buy this guitar thinking it is one that has a built in tuner with the electrics cause it doesn't. Guitars with those are usually a bit more expensive. Other than that, it is great!

I bought this guitar as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. I'm glad to report that he LOVES it!!! It sounded a lot better than I expected! Before I bought it, I read reviews on amazon, but also from several other web pages (just to make sure it was worth my money) and they all said that it was a great guitar for beginners and I would have to agree. I'm writing this review because I genuinely like this guitar (in fact I steal it from my boyfriend whenever I can) and recommend it to all beginners or people looking to give an acoustic as a gift!!!!
