Antimicrobial laundry rinse additive reduces the risk of cross contamination by imparting a residual finish that remains active until the next washing. Use as a disinfectant for floors, walls, cage kennels & grooming areas. Non-toxic & non-irritating. Animals do not need to be removed when cleaning area. Rinsing is NOT suggested. Residually effective against gram positive & negative bacteria, anti-viral, anti-fungal & much more. Use as a dip for cats & dogs with fungal problems. Add 1 tsp to rinse cycle for sm/med loads. Disinfectant add 1 tsp/gallon water; broad-spectrum disinfectant/odor control add 1 Tbsp/qt. Fog: 1oz/gallon water. Dip: 1 tsp per gallon water.

Happy with product but not how price goes up

I love this product and order it every month or so. I like how it has a residual effect. I am however unhappy on how it keeps going up in price each time I order. It is starting to get too expensive. They see a demand for it and they begin seeing dollars signs. I understand they have to make money, but I bought it when it was 99.00 for a gallon. Now it's 105.00

aging female cat with thyroid issues...

Our 15 year old cat had been diagnosed w/ thyroid problem and is on medication. Always thirsty and eats all the time, but still losing quite a bit of weight. So much weight was lost, I was afraid I would come home to find her no longer with us. When we'd pet her, all we could feel was bones and flesh. It was awful seeing Stormy deteriorate. After a bit of research, I tried giving her kitten food and whiskas milk. Then did more research and found out about KMR. So glad I did. She is always ready to drink her milk and while she still feels a bit boney, she doesn't feel completely emaciated. She is gaining weight and always purring - happy and super lovable. As a previous poster mentioned, it does state to refrigerate bag. So I'll take a .5 cup powder and add 1 cup warm water - throw it in my tupperware mixer/shaker bottle and use it over the next 24 hours. So glad I decided to give this a try!!! I also give her cooked chicken - which she is all too happy to eat! While this won't cure her thyroid problem, at least she's enjoying a better quality of life.

if you are to buy KMR you should definately buy it online, because the price is much better than most pet stores. If you buy the five pound bag you need to read the back carefully, because you are suppose to refridgerate it and it doesn't say it anywhere else.

Excellent product for a cat shelter

This product was recommended by a vet for the cat shelter. This product is all you need to keep the shelter clean as it kills viruses (including CANINE PAROVIRUS), gram positive and gram negative bacteria, fungi (molds and yeasts) and mycoplasma. Anyone who runs a shelter is aware of how quickly things can spread so this is a good first line of defense.

I use Prozyme for all 3 of my dogs - 12 year old Lab, 2 year old Lab and 4 year old German Shepherd. I worry about bloat and this product is said to help prevent this condition. It also helped them get all the nutrition out of their food.

Great Stuff... use it for my dogs!

Clovite is great as a vitamin/conditioning supplement. I raise giant breed dogs that have different nutritional needs than most dogs. I put this over their dog food and not only do they like it but it does great things for their coats and helps them look their best. I can only imagine it does wonders for horses too, but never used it for that purpose. Only downside is it comes cheapest nin the 25 pound bag so shipping can get pricey, so I have found it from time to time offered on Amazon with the super savers deal and got free shipping!!! It has saved me close to $20 in shipping charges. Thanks Clovite and Amazon!

We could see an energy difference in two of the three standard poodles who share their lives with us. The youngest, at 2, was getting very little...just a bit so he didn't think he wasn't getting what the big boys were getting. However; the 8 1/2 year old really perked up and he wasn't slow to begin with!We started the Lixontinic for one of our poodles who is only 5, who has a blood disorder. It has made a difference for him.This is a great price on this product!

twenty five pounds

The advertisement for this product indicates that there is a container with the product in it. Imagine my suprise when I opened the shipment and found twenty five pounds of brewers yeast in a trash bag. How angry would you be. It is roughly four gallons. What do you have laying around your house big enough to fit four gallons of product in? Other than that the product works great!

I purchased a 4# container of this for my dogs because fleas have been bad this year and the poison I had been using was not working.I didn't like using the chemicals in the first place, but whats the point if it doesn't work!?!?!?!?I seen results overnight!!! I used the summer dosage and by the next day there was almost no fleas left.Within 2 days there was none!!!!So -- when I reordered -- I am getting the BIG ONE!!!!I highly recommend this productUPDATE -- 11/28 -- I am thinking the 25# one I got is not the same as the 4# -- the picture shows the same, but I have to use quite a bit more of this product to get the same results I got with the 4#So now I have to order another 4# to mix with my bigger one to see if I can get it to work betterLike the previous review mentions -- this does not come with any Naturevet markings -- it is in a plastic garbage bag -- which would not be a problem if it was the same stuff as they have pictured
