The Edelbrock Performer RPM Rectangular Port Aluminum Cylinder Heads have specially designed intake and exhaust ports for increased flow and velocity over standard big-block heads. These heads feature a highly-efficient 118cc open-style combustion chamber for maximum performance. It is engineered with high-velocity 315cc long and 300cc short intake runners. They are designed for street and high-performance vehicles, operating from 2,500-7,000 RPM. The stainless steel, hardened tip 2.19'' intake and 1.88'' exhaust valves have smaller-than-stock 11/32'' valve stems to promote excellent flow and lighter valve weight. The deck surface and water jackets were specially designed to work with all big-block engines. The volume of the intake runner is 315cc and the exhaust runner is 300cc. The heads include top-quality ARP rocker studs, bronze guides and hardened, ductile iron valve seats.

This is a great way to give performance to your 454. I had a pair of oval steel stock heads and now with these new heads I will gain 40 kg of weight and maybe 70-100 HP. Big StainStell valves, good chambers, light weight, big ducts, etc.

Work well on my Windsor

I've been running these heads about a year now. in my set up , they produce tons of power from 2400rpm to 5500.engine build is as fallows:stroked 351w to 408, 1.5 rod ratio, 10.5:1 compressioncrane 449601 roller cam, roller rockers.RPM air gap intake, 750cfm carb.shorty headers and dual 2.5" exhaust2400 stall on a c6 in an '82 Bronco with 35's.

It eliminates wearing of the threads and the possibility of bottoming the rocker shaft bolts in the head.

An excellent head for the FE engine.

I have run these #60069 heads for around 40,000 miles on my 428 CJ with a .530" lift Crane flat tappet solid lifter cam and stock 427 adjustable rockers, 10.2:1 cr. These are out of the box heads, no flaws found, and they performat least as well as my stock CJ heads. I use traditional McCord 6733 laminated steel gaskets, have had no problems. I removed the heads only for maintenance to clean carbon from the piston tops and coking from the back of the intake valves. The guides are like new and the springs are still in spec. I refinished the tip ends of the valves a very small amount, valve seats were still as new.These heads are going right back on the engine!

it made no difference

I paid almost $70 for this air filter,thinking my van(2002 GMC Savanna 3500)will get better mileage.But it did not happened,it made no difference. I don't think you will get better mileage with this air filter.If you will keep your vehicle for 5 years or more than buy it.
