4did not specified these were 8ohm
By LiRa89
i bought these speakers for my truck, but it didn't specify that they were 8ohms, wanted to clarify this in case someone is interested in them, that aside, i hooked them to a different car, they have a nice sound, so if you have little space, these are great,

These are good speakers. Have them running on a sundown 4 channel amp. Have had them for about a year now and there starting to crackle a little bit but I have them a little bit over powered so I'm not surprised. The sound is clear and pretty clean.

5good solid stand
By K. R. mcmahon
just received this stand around december 22. it does have to be put together, which takes about 30 minutes unless you do it backwards like i did, then it takes a little longer. have transported the saw to a job site and it folds up nice and sets up quickly. it has a great work height and is stable. it does make the saw heavier but is easy to load and unload. if you have a bosch table saw this would be an added benefit. especially if you need to wheel saw around to job site to job site. the wheels are very good. I had the rousseau stand but was not satisfied (the rolling one) this works much better.

5Well built, well engineered
By Jason Ledyard
I didn't think any saw stand would be as good as my Rigid M-SUV mitre saw stand. Oh how wrong I was! This is a very solid, very well built and very well engineered jobsaw stand. It is durable enough to take the beatings of being dragged out of my truck, bounced across a job site, up and down a set of stairs, or anything else you would want to do to it.I have the DeWalt DW-744 mounted to mine, and all the holes are pre-drilled and markings are STAMPED into the top plate! This really is a universal stand. To me, the single item that really stands out is there is not a single hydraulic strut on this stand, and yet it requires very little effort to get the saw into the working position. No strut means nothing to leak or wear out! No seals to replace. Everything is accomplished with old-fashioned leverage, and it works wonderfully. The pneumatic tires are also a big plus in my book. Solid tires just won't take the weight and punishment that pneumatic tires will. My only gripe is I'd like the tires to be about 2 inches larger in diameter. But with the design of the stand, it's not a big deal, as I think I can retrofit something larger on my own.

5You Want This -- You REALLY, REALLY Want This!
By Henry Perkins
The Bosch 4000 is the best of the "benchtop" (i.e., portable) table saws. With my table saw "living" in my storage shed and carried to my patio work area each time I need it, portability is a must. I got the Bosch 4000-07, the model with the red folding base, a couple of years ago. It worked fine, but each time I needed the saw I had to pick it up off the base and carry it across the lawn to the patio, set it down and make another trip for the base, and finally pick up the saw and put it back on the base. I never bolted the saw down to the base because the combination is both heavy and bulky, a package too unwieldy for me to haul across the lawn in one piece. And with uneven ground, a standard movable (castered) base wouldn't help. Then last year Bosch came out with this item, the "TS2000 Gravity-Rise Wheeled Table Saw Stand with Universal Mounting Slots". A big name, and even bigger performance. Even though this base cost more than my first "starter" table saw, I'm really happy with the purchase. The package as delivered was both big (42" high) and heavy (66 lbs.), so I was glad I had another wheeled cart (a hand truck) to move this to my back patio for assembly. When I opened it up I found the manual to be better than usual. The diagrams of the major pieces are pretty good (except the "lower cross bar" picture looks distorted), and the diagrams of the fasteners are EXCELLENT. They're done to scale so you can lay the parts on the page for a "no doubt about it" match. The fasteners come in two bags; the larger bag is used to assemble the base, and the smaller bag to mount the table saw on the base. Each assembly step includes a closeup showing where the fasteners go. With just a closeup each time, I found myself scratching my head a couple of times to locate which sections of the larger pieces were depicted. But I had no other problems with the instructions for assembling the base, and only one problem in mounting the table saw to it. (The mounting instructions say to insert and securely tighten the first bolt, then repeat for the other three holes. I tried it that way, but the other holes were out of alignment by a hair. Instead you should *loosely* tighten the bolts until all four are in, and only then secure them.) I only tried to mount my Bosch table saw, of course, but there are instructions included for Dewalt DW744, Craftsman 21830, Makita 2703, Hitachi C10RA2, and Ridgid TS2400LS table saws as well. The tools I used were:- utility knife, to open the packaging- rubber mallet, to persuade the upper & lower cross bars to snug together- large Phillips screwdriver- 17 mm, 13 mm, and 10 mm ratcheting wrenches- 8" crescent wrenchTotal assembly time was just over 1-1/2 hours, including time spent looking for tools. In operation, the Gravity-Rise stand is just wonderful. The big pneumatic tires take the trip across my uneven lawn without any problems, even though the combination of saw and base is most of my weight. The superb balance -- upright for moving, lowered for operation, and in between -- is responsible for this ease of operation. I tighten down the Bench Dog featherboard and it's good to go. The standard Bosch miter gauge *almost* stays locked in its storage slots on the left side of the saw, and works OK if I watch it. The Bosch dust collector bag will stay attached while moving, but the end drags on the ground so I remove it while wheeling the saw about.Using my table saw with the new stand is both faster and easier on my back. As an added bonus, in the upright position the saw now has a smaller footprint in my storage shed than with the original red folding base. You *really*, *really* want this if you've got a benchtop saw that you move around.

5why this is a very good idea.
By Eric Hirsch
After a lot of study, I ordered this to line the inside of my DIY woofer box. (I'll also use some fiberglass.) The most up-to-date damping for cars are "constrained layers" backed with aluminum. BUT the layers are not really constrained if they are glued-peel-and-stick to a medium density composite cabinet. Then I realized that mass-filled vinyl is in effect a bunch of very-well constrained layers, since each particle is surrounded by elastomer, and so can turn the vibration energy into heat in effectively the same way a constrained layer does by resisting the movement and turning it by friction into heat -- and maybe even more efficiently, since the surface area of the particles could exceed that of a flat constrained layer. We'll see. But I thought others might be interested in the reason for my provisional 5 star rating. I'd be grateful if some physicist came along and commented on my reasoning.

By dennis_v
These aren't the best speakers i've ever used, but they certainly get the job done. Don't even bother hooking them up to stock head, you need an amp on these speakers to make the sing. Highs are a little dry for my taste, but these speakers excel in mids and bass. I have a 10" sub and I barely need that turned up with these speakers in the back. Pair these with a nice set of front speakers and your car will sound awesome.

Product Description

Tamron's Di lenses featuring optical systems for use with both digital and film cameras have been highly evaluated by users around the world since the introduction of the first Di lens, SP AF28-75mm F/2.8 (Model A09), in 2003. Many users strongly suggested that Tamron make the existing non-SP high power and compact 28-300mm lens they are using with their film cameras available in the Di design in order to realize the same convenience and quality images with digital cameras. Tamron has redesigned the conventional AF28-300mm zoom (A06) to feature the Di design in order to meet the demand of those photographers. Main Features: High Image Quality by Virtue of Di (Digitally Integrated) Design: The "Di" design is achieved by first improving our BBAR coatings to a new multi-coating that encompasses all of the benefits of the original but now further reduces the ghosting and flare caused by aberrations, and secondly by further enhancing our already stringent quality control system. The new AF28-300mm Di is redesigned as a high power zoom lens now ideal for use with interchangeable-lens digital cameras as well as film cameras. Changes 1. Improved Coating: Newly developed Multi-coating ideal for digital imaging to reduce ghosting and flare caused by aberrations and to increase contrast 2. Enhanced Quality Control: Ensure mechanical and and optical meet new standard 3. Exterior design: Di lo

4Nice all-around lens for Digital Rebel
By D. Smith
I love taking photos, but I hate carrying lots of equipment when photography is not the focus of my journey, so I looked to find a lens that was light, inexpensive, a useful focal range and decent sharpness given all of the above. I believe the Tamron fits the bill.Although this lens will not win any points with 'L'-series purists, I found it to be a very useful - and lightweight - lens. Sure, it's slow... Sure - it has a plastic mount... Sure - it's not as sharp as a lot of lenses with smaller zoom ranges and bigger price tags... But for most people who aren't looking for poster-sized enlargements, a lens that won't break your shoulder or your bank account like the Tamron is a good fit. I have used this lens for a few weeks now, and have compared the results to the excellent Tamron 28-75 2.8 XR Di, the Canon 50mm 1.8 (the 'plastic fantastic'), and the kit lens. It does lack the tack-sharpness of the 50mm and the 28-75, but it is still very acceptable. The reach is what will 'wow' you about the lens. Outdoors in decent light you can really pull your subject up close. In a photo taken from the 6th story of a beach hotel, I was able to clearly read a standard beach umbrella-rental sign that was approx. 500 yards away. Indoors, this lens is just too slow to be useful at full zoom, but does reasonably well between 28-100mm with built-in flash (just be sure to remove the lens hood or it will shadow the lower part of the frame) and even better with an external flash (I use the EX550). The focus is quick and quiet in decent lighting, but it will hunt in darker scenes. In short, if you want a lens that offers reasonable sharpness, an incredible focal range, lightness and compactness at an attractive price, then consider this lens. You may find, as I did, that it will let you take that long lens with you instead of leaving your gear behind... I would much rather have a picture that may not be 'as sharp' than the one I did not take because I left the two pound lens behind.

5If you buy just one lens, this is it.
By Lydia Lee
When I got my dslr, I did not get the "kit" lens. I wanted immediately to be able to take both macro and zoom shots, and I didn't have money for more than one good quality lens. So I researched and read reviews online and when I bought my new camera, I got the Tamron 28-300. I made a great choice. If you buy just one lens; this lens is it.This lens' macro shots are clear and detailed. For example, in a picture I recently took of my Pomeranian each individual hair that sticks up is visible and clear, strand by strand. The versatility of the lens allows me to take landscape pictures, photos of birds in my yard, portraits, nearly whatever strikes me. Every time they are crisp and the colors are good.I love this lens; it is still my primary lens.

5Great quality, terrific value
By Gadgester
(Tamron also makes this lens available for Canon and Pentax digital SLRs, for the same price.)This new digital SLR-friendly zoom lens from Tamron is a great way to acquire a high-quality zoom lens for a fraction of the cost if you bought from the camera maker (e.g., Nikkor). Tamron claims this is world's "smallest and lightest" zoom lens for the focal range. I have no idea if that's true. It's small and lightweight indeed, about the same size as the DX lens bundled with the Nikon D70 but feels lighter in the hand. To my eyes it's a plastic lens, but this made-in-Japan lens looks and feels solid. It has all the bells and whistles of a modern lens: XR, LD, asperical, plus macro capability. In real world shooting I'm very happy with the result, and I really don't think buying an official Nikkor lens would make much of a difference. Two things to keep in mind is, 1) as long as you buy a namebrand lens (Tamron, Sigma, and maybe Vivitar) you are getting a good deal, and 2) the marginal increase in lens quality (perceived or real) from the camera maker is extremely unlikely to improve pictures by any discernible amount. Give Ansel Adams a disposable camera and he would still take better pics than you and me, period. As long as you have a high quality, capable lens like this Tamron, you are armed with all the gear you need to NOT miss a great picture opportunity. The only ingredient nobody can sell, is your creativity. (Unfortunately the latter is what I lack and try to improve. For now, at least the Tamron is giving me the right tool.)For digital Nikon SLRs, the 1.5 "magnification" factor (or crop factor) means the effective focal length of this Tamron is about 43-460mm in 35mm equivalent. In short, this is a really top-quality lens that any Nikon D70 enthusiast should consider. It's a lot bang for the buck, and it's even made in Japan unlike many Nikon official lenses which are made in sweatshops in Southeast Asia.

5The BEST!
By kjbad
OK, I have a Chrysler that came with the Boston premium sound system from the factory. Not enough lows for me and distortion at high volume meant the Bostons had to go. I put a pair of these Tarantula 6x9s in my doors and a pair in the rear deck for rear fill, all hooked to the factory Boston amp and using the supplied crossovers. They fit in my factory locations just fine. I mounted the crossovers in the doors and on the rear deck so they won't rattle, and I got my trunk space back. Turn it up all the way, there is NO distortion. Unless you're a basshead, these provide all the lows you need without a sub. The magnets are large - about 4" in diameter, so make sure you have enough clearance when you install these. And you MUST use an amp to get the max out of them...but once you do, the sound quality is the best I've ever heard from 6x9s. Silky sweet highs. Balanced mids and surprisingly balanced tight lows. You will hear details you've probably never heard before in your music. I did. Easily worth twice what I paid for them. Best 6x9 EVER.

5AWESOME
By Audio enthusiast
I am a professional who has been in the car audio industry for 20+ years now. These are EASILY the best sounding 6x9 speakers I have ever used. The key to having great sound in most speakers is the crossover. Very few speakers you can buy have their own crossover, meaning they operate FULL RANGE all the time. Every possible frequency is going through your speaker wires and into your speakers. The crossover filters out the incorrect frequencies that cause distortion and damage your speaker and corrupt your sound quality.Someone on here wrote that these speakers are 3-ohm and that high quality speakers are 4-ohm. This is not only incorrect but quite the reverse. Ohms are the measure for resistance. Lower number means less resistance meaning power flows more easily through them which automatically makes them louder than any 4-ohm speaker. Only the serious high quality manufacturers offer speakers less than 4-ohms. Soundstream, PPI, Infinity to name a few.

5Nice Amp
By Adrian L. Robertson
Installed this amp for my 6x9 inch speakers in my Grand Cherokee, and they rocked the house. Clean signal, had to turn them down a bit, this is a good amp for the money. Will definitely buy again.

5Bike Riding in Winter Weather..
By poppy
Like to bike ride all year long but numbness in thumbs and fingers made it not possible last winter. I tried various glove including purchases at REI, liners, all to no avail. Thought I would take a chance on the Marmot's, have used them once on a cold day and found themto be much better than any others to date. My fingers/thumb stayed comfortable and I was able to do a 10 mile bike ride with these gloves. Had them in my cart waiting to pull the trigger on such a large investment when one day they showed up on sale for approx $80, so both my husband and I got a pair....no regrets, best pair for keeping my fingers warm! Great Product from Marmot!

5Sweaty hands
By Tim Mead
Moved from the southern US to the Northern US and wanted to continue bike commuting. Struggled for two years trying to keep my fingers warm while trying various gloves. This product has saved my fingers and my hands actually sweat in temps below twenty while bicycling to work in arctic cold. Over thirty degrees, these gloves are too warm if exercising.

4Beautiful!
By Barbara A. Boehl
This bowl is beautiful! It is the rich green one expects in high quality crystal, and the cuts are fairly sharp. One thing, however--the bowl is not a heavy weight crystal--the glass is thinner than my more expensive pieces, and therefore lighter in weight. There are a few small bubbles in the glass, but then you find the same thing in Waterford crystal these days. I would recommend this bowl, as it is sizable, beautiful in color, and has an appealing, classic cut.

5Hyundai ImageQuest L70S+ Flat Panel Display (LCD)
By Andrew Guay
These units are excellent in every way. I purchased A Sony HD TV and in the literature they wouldn't warranty the unit if it had a bad Pixel, calling it normal to have some that were bad..... I purchased the Hyundai actually 3 of them. We had one with "A" bad pixel mind you one. And it was replaced with a new monitor of the same model and type. Quite honestly having a bad pixel is increadibly annoying and calls for attention thus creating a huge impediment to the practical use of the monitor. We have now had them over a year and they have performed flawlessly Plenty bright, plenty of contrast, No shaddowing, very clean immage. We use them in every way you can use a computer. 3D immaging, typical office, video, fast paced game play. In a word "Flawless" we are very happy with them.
