APRIL FRESH CLEAN AIR!

Getting into wood working in a big way purchasing a 100 year old town hall for my home. Milling wood taken out of my "Back yard" and the American Beechwood creates a LOT of dust. I needed to protect my lungs in a way that was beyond just a paper mask and I also needed to have fresh air flow because I tend to sweat a LOT and wanted to prevent fogging. This unit is quiet enough that by wearing hearing protection (Koss full ear cup headphones and a mp3 player on moderate level) that I can wear it for 8 hours and not be a problem. Weight is not a concern if your work is looking downward, and becomes very noticeable if doing anything beyond looking straight forward. Easy on/off. And for those that have a beard, I sport a FULL one and find this unit seals without much problem other than occasional caught hair in the cinch... Battery pack can easily go 8 hours, charges overnight. Rather than replacing the filter after each use, I use the shop vac to clean out the unit. A dream to have, Battery clip for the belt works GREAT! Nice feature to check for flow or low battery, 3M has made a great unit here! 4 star for overall because of weight for anything other than looking down. Highly recommend for wood working.

Has your dog ever rolled itself in a nasty-smelling dead frog?

Well, it's more common than you'd think... no different than him coming home after being sprayed by a skunk! Anyway, I had been given a small sample of Nolvasan Scrub by our vet for use in cleaning up the yucky smell of anal gland oil residual that is sometimes left on the dog's fur. Yuck, as well. The scrub worked great for that, and let me tell you.... the smell of the FROG STINK WAS COMPLETELY SOLVED WITH THIS SCRUB. No need for a bath in tomato juice... sometimes a dog bath just isn't manageable at a moment's notice. The scrub (with the addition of slipping the dog a small Greenie for his dead-frog-breath) solved our stinky problem almost immediately!

The best I have found pleasant smell

Used a million cleaners while working at veterinary clinics this one is by far the best of its kind. I was looking for something to help clean and get the urine and old lady smell out of my grandmothers laundry and this came to mind. It works great I just add a squirt to every load.. It is intended to be diluted and used for disinfecting surfaces which it is also very good at and smells good unlike the majority of products.

This solution is the same stuff I paid 2x the amount for through a vet...and the vet sold us the diluted solution (how it is used in application)...we use it (in diluted form) for our small animal (rabbit) to clean a messy bottom...Great price and great product...

Can't live without this!

I use this on my golden retriever to help clear up his allergy hotspots. It helps TREMENDOUSLY! I also used to buy this from my vet for at least twice the cost of buying the gallon. I dilute it, so this gallon lasts a very long time. I have shared it with several of my friends.

Price Gouging at the Vets

My small dog fell asleep under a truck (something he never does) that backed up. No internal injuries but a second degree burn all over his tummy. We were given an undiluted little container which burned him AWFULLY and he screeched at the top of his lungs and bit me from being in so much pain. I called the vet this morning (Monday) and was told I could dilute it 10-1. Amazon sells this for $67.00/gallon while we paid $15.00 for no more than THREE TABLESPOONS. This is unbelievable.

Scanner and software are great, very streamlined for home document scanning - bills, statements, invoices, etc.too bad software does not work on Windows Server 2003, because it relies on TWAIN support. They could have made it compatible with ISIS.The scanner beats hands down the Fujitsu's ScanSnap 5110-EOX2 (which I also have). Software is much better - for example renaming resulting PDF files to meaninful names is a royal pain with Fujitsu/Adobe bundle, but with Kodak Capture it's a piece of cake. Just take care to learn the software - it's not immediately intuitive.1. capture a bunch of documents (statements, etc.) into a batch2. press "E" to start naming documents. While doing that you can brows the first or 2nd page of each document to get idea of what statement and what date it applies to.

Great Scanner for 32 bit versions of Windows

I had purchased several of these scanners for use in an office. The scanner is perfect, and a bargain for its performance, if you are using a 32 bit version of windows. Be aware however that the i40 does not support 64 bit versions of windows 7. I subsequently acquired a pair of Kodak i1220 scanners for my 64 bit windows 7 machines because of my good experience with the i40 and they are absolutely amazing and perform flawlessly. In the course of setting it up I had contacted Kodak product support several times to deal with a problem caused by interaction with my anti-virus program and got the best service I ever experienced from a computer company.

Drivers ok for Win7 32 bit, BUT WHAT ABOUT SCANNING SOFTWARE?

Can anyone suggest SCANNING SOFTWARE with a reasonable price (under $100) for the Kodak i40 scanner with WIN 7?I have enjoyed the speed of my i40 scanner connected to my win XP computer.Now I am installing it on my new WIN 7 OS computer.Installation CD cannot be used to install the scanner, had to go to the Kodak web site for a version that works with WIN 7 32 bit. That worked. So far so good.BUT the separate SCANNING SOFTWARE CD "Kodak Capture LITE" does not work with WIN 7, and Kodak tells me there is no free replacement for the original (free) Scanning Software. I would have to purchase Kodak Capture PRO for $499! (1/2 the price of the scanner!). Kodak referred me to their web site where about 100 3rd party software vendors are listed that sell scanning software that will work with the i40. This is TOO LARGE a list for me to go through one-by-one.Can anyone suggest SCANNING SOFTWARE with a reasonable price (under $100) for the Kodak i40 scanner with WIN 7?

We use Trifectant to clean and disinfect the kennel runs at our non-profit animal shelter.
