Disney Chess Scores a Checkmate!!!

This game is durable and the characters made it incredibly easy for me to teach my daughter how to play chess. The name of each piece ("Pawn, bishop, etc") is inscribed at the base of each piece. That way, my daughter can play other versions and know it's still the same game...played the same way. My only negative comment would be that the clear window on the box lid tends to break off fairly easily. But it's the game we want, right? Not just the box!!! This game is great!!!

Great, execpt the board

This Chess is great for kids because of the Disney characters. They are very resistant and colorful, the evil ones are great and the good ones are funny and charming but the board is just awful; very flimsy for a child.My daughter is 6 years old and loves to play with her father... guess who plays with the charming characters?

Love my Disney Chess Set

This set is well made and a has been a great way to get my kids excited about learning to play chess. It comes with chess board and all the chess pieces shaped like disney characters. It's Disney Villians (Cruella and Jafar as King and Queen) vs Princesses Heroes (with Belle and Beast as King and Queen). Can also use for a game of Checkers. I definitely recommend adding this set to your collection.

How is possible that you need to go to buy cables??

I get this system from a store and it was not an open box. BUT I CANT BELIEVE IT, if you want to see a DVD and hear a DVD in DVD mode, you need to buy a TOShttp://amzn.com/dp/B00064WSGO/?tag={ucomicscom} cable to have sound out of this device! That thing cost less than five bucks and is not included on the box??? Yamaha, don't do shamefull things!Also, it have so many sound modes, that it would drive you crazy to find the right one. Personally, I liked the 6 channels DTS decoding, it looks that have more power than dolby surround or dolby prologic (hate that dolby prologic sound in any system! It is awful!).

Just what we wanted....

I was searching for a new sax case for my son and am very satisfied with this one we ordered. Our key criteria was something weighing less than his existing 'traditional' case. My son has actually weighed his old and this new case and says it's 3 pounds lighter which makes a big difference for a 12 year old carrying it on and off school buses. It also seems very durable and has convenient compartments.

protec alto sax case

It is really a good bag but could have been great if one of the side pockets could have been bigger so that i could carry my book(s) as well. Still very happy with the bag comfortable to carry, enough space in pockets to carry the accessories (except book(s)) and gives good protection. Really this is a good alto sax bag i would recommend to everybody.

Big Sound From a Little Guitar

I normally play an Ovation acoustic and was accustomed to that projected sound afforded by the rounded back. As you can Imagine I was somewhat skeptical when I looked at the ROVER. This guitar has EXCELLENT sound that I absolutely did not expect. I compared this guitar to the martin backpacker(btw, I love Martin Guitars) and not only is the sound better but the action is unbelievable. All for under $200.00. This is a great buy especially at this price. I can't put this guitar down!

Extraordinary Value

I have to believe that this guitar is a loss leader for Washburn. The fit and finish are excellent but most importantly the neck setup is the best I have ever seen on a new guitar out-of-the-box at any price. After playing it for one day I had no choice but to take my Martin in for a neck setup to match it, or at least come close -- cost me $600. A travel guitar needs to have an excellent case and this one does. It's made to fit in the overhead but I would have no qualms about shipping this in the belly of the beast. The neck and head stock get very good support in this case. Within hours of receiving this guitar I installed a strap button on the heel, this is essential for holding the guitar and Washburn would do well to make this a standard feature.

Nice Price - An Overall Nice Deal

I've played Washburn's since I started and currently own 4 of them so was pretty comfortable ordering this without playing it first. It's a very playable guitar that took virtually no set up (minor truss rod adjustment) with nice action. The tone gets a little getting used to - a bit like a ukelele from the player position but when someone across from me was playing it I was surprised over the projection and better than anticipated richness (given it's size). Better than the Martin backpacker in that it's a more conventional shape and easier to play - and, I think, sounds fuller. Great travel case - it would take a lot to do some damage - and nice accessory package. Came very close to giving it 5 stars - particularly for the price. Don't think you could do better.

Best value for the money in the industry.

Super-fast, easy to set up for Mac and PC use, and it does duplex! I bought this because I do a lot of freelance writing and knew an inkjet's little cartridges would be ridiculously inefficient compared to a toner cartridge's cost and long-lasting life. I'm on my second of these little workhorses over the last 8 years and would buy one again in a heartbeat. They're just about indestructible and for the price you can't beat what they can do. Don't get those cheap little inkjets with their 50-page capacity cartridges--this is the printer you really wanted.
