Awesome!!

This product is indeed amazing. The yakima fairing fulfills its purpose of substantially minimizing the loud wind blowing noise when a roof-rack is installed. This product is extremely easy to install (about 10 minutes tops). Besides the it primary purpose, it also gives you vehicle a make-over, gives it a sporty look to it. I would definitely recommend this product!!!Cons: It can definitely be cheaper for two reasons: 1) flexy material looks that it can go for less. 2) the front of the fairing says "Yakima", its like free advertisement.

I suppose I may have expected too much in any product's ability to reduce wind noise of a roof rack. At turnpike speed, the fairing helps but does not eliminate the noise created by the rack. Strong side winds, or quartering from ahead cause the most noise, and of course the fairing works best when traveling in the same direction as the wind or at lower speed. Still noisy, but not to such an extent!

Expensive, but made in the USA and worth every penny

This same review is in two other places, due to different offers for the same product. I wanted everyone to have this information to help them select the right product.This is a great design. I looked at other ladders, including the Werner Chinese-made copycat product, and at all the Little Giant products before determining that this was the best value.The action is very smooth and tight when adjusting. The hinge stops are designed very cleverly to make one-handed operation easy. It is very sturdy and although it is only rated for 250 lb I can attest that it could easily hold much more. It is very light given that it can reach 22 feet in length. I bought mine with the accessories and have tested them all except for the leg leveler. They seem well designed and built and serve their purposes perfectly.I see no reason to spend more on the heavier gauge ladders, although I was tempted to, making the assumption that the lightest gauge would feel cheap or wobbly. Glad I went for this one instead. Yeah, it's more expensive, but the quality is excellent and it's a serious tool, not a Wal-Mart cheapie.

the description does not say that it is incomplete and that you need to purchase the cross bar separately. In fact, the description says it is ready to go. But when you get it, there is no cross bar and the picture on the box does not have the cross bar. would have been nice to know at time of purchase. Other than that, it works as advertised.

yakima drydock canoe hitch carrier

I purchased this item in early spring and am overall pleased. When you have the straps connected it is relatively secure. The only thing frustrating about the product is it does not come with the top bar... I purchased it at a local truck store for roughly $50-$75.. There is a little sway forward and backward when I am loading or removing my canoe.

Very solid product

I use Yakima DryDock Boat Hitch Mount rack to haul huge Current Designs Libra XT double kayak on top of my Toyota 4Runner. I am very pleased with the rack, it keeps the kayak very secure. You don't have to worry about longitudinal kayak wobbling when you drive over the rough terrain or speed bumps! I've noticed some latitudinal movement of the rack, though I have not observed any negative effects of it. As far as I can tell, this is pretty much the only option to haul something long and heavy on top of 4Runner as the roof base for putting a two-crossbar roof rack is very small unless your truck has factory-installed rails. To give you a complete picture of my setup, I also use Yakima BoatLoader accessory on my front roof-mounted crossbar. This allows me to load and unload the heavy beast by myself, which makes my life so much easier. Granted, you can't open the rear cargo door with this rack in the trailer hitch, but I can live with that.

Only ladder you'll ever need around a house

This is an excellent product. Very well designed.This Little Giant Ladder can do it all: can be used as a step ladder or get up to the roof of a 2 story house.It can even be safely used in a staircase.It is very stable and safe in every position.It is also easy to move around and adjust for the configuration that is needed.I bought one for me then when my son bought his house I made sure he had one also to work around the house.

i got this about 7 years ago and it really is a 5 star workout platformi dont even have most of the attachments setup and it is still highly usefulmy dad built it/put it together, i probably couldnt put it together or couldnt ofif your interested in a workout center/platform with alot of key exercises it's this oneand does incline/decline for the benchand you can use the smith machine for the full bar or use it on regular catches/hooksalso includes safety levels for bench pressing on a free use of the bar/non smith machine wayget it.

Great it revived a rusty ole jeep

My husband bought this for an old Jeep Wrangler he recently purchased. The Jeep is red and he wanted to rip out the carpet inside the jeep and paint it red to match the outside. It looks awesome and really made a huge improvement. Now he wont have to worry about nasty carpet or a rusted floorboard for when it gets rained or mud inside it.

This Amp kicks ass!!!

Bought this Amp a few months ago. Hook up is easy...If you can run wires(Cat-5 and speaker) from the Amp to the area you want sound(Zone). All the rest is easy. Another concern I had was that the 40 Watts per speaker would not be loud enough. Let me tell you this is not the case. It's not AC/DC in concert loud, but it's loud. One more thing, get the 2-gang control panels. The 2-gang panels allow you to change CD's, tracks, AM/FM stations, and any other function that the source(CD, AM/FM player)player remote can do. In other words the control panels can learn from the remote.

Every time I throw a party everyone compliments me on my whole house audio system, my parties are a hit now. I also like how I can create different moods around my home I like listening to hip-hop and my dude like latin pop so I can always play my jams in my game room and kick back while he listens to his stuff. I also plugged in a sirius radio and programed the remote to the keypad and I am absolutely satisfied!!!! Fully programmable remote system love it!!! Check the video!!!!

Reliable whole house audio

I purchased this product 6 years ago and it has worked flawlessly for that time. I have 6 zones operating with 22 speakers, I used speaker hubs to get more than 2 speakers per zone. The only knock on it is the remote, but if you use a universal remote it works great. Specifically, the remote is weak and does not work reliably unless you have it pointing precisely at the wall unit. The unit has never been turned off in the 6 years so it is solid. I used the triggering feature to silence it when the doorbell rings over it or when l use my whole home paging using it.

Great Knife

This has worked very well for filleting Chinook (King) salmon and Dolly Varden -- takes and holds a nice edge, balances well; perfect blade shape for filleting large or small fish. If you aren't in the habit of keeping a sharpening steel handy, the included little sharpening tool works well, too. Insert knife into sheath carefully as the blade is thin and flexible and can slip between leather and liner. As ever, I suggest a mesh protective glove if you are doing lots of fish or are particularly tired or a bit of a klutz like me.

This knife is for big boys only!

I am dating a chef at a fine dining seafood and steak restaurant and he had mentioned that he needed a fillet knife so I got on line and with the help of these great reviews I chose this one. He was very surprised and happy when it shipped to the restaurant. He said that I could not have done any better, that guys he has worked with would try and carve their knifes to look like this one. It is a very sexy knife and gets right under the skin. Anyway, one of the servers comes in the kitchen, sees the knife and runs his finger down the blade lightly to test the sharpness and it nearly cut his finger off. All the way into the bone! Yes he had to get stitches. Thus comes my title, this knife is for big boys only. It is sharp! My chef loves it!

I AM A NEW JERSEY ANGLER , I FILLET 100 + FISH A MONTH , I FINALLY BIT THE BULLET AND SPENT THE MONEY FOR THIS KNIFE , AFTER YEARS OF CHEAPER KNIVES . I FILLETED 25 SEABASS IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES ,USUALLY TAKES 20 MINUTES. THIS KNIFE HAS GREAT BALANCE AND IS RAZOR SHARP . ( BE CAREFUL , I NICKED MYSELF , DID'NT EVEN FEEL IT UNTIL THE BLOOD CAME). NO MORE STOPPING TO SHARPEN FOR ME , THE EXTRA COST IS WELL WORTH IT.

If you need a very small saucepan and hate dribbling this is the one for you.

Every so often I need to either melt some butter or make a quick but very small amount of sauce for a dish. This is the one I reach for because of its rolled lip that makes it very easy to pour the butter or sauce where I need it without dribbling the sauce or butter down the side of the pan as I pour. The copper core really transfers the heat to the pan. The only minus is that I can't get a matching lid.Because the pan is very small, you may need to use a heat diffuser to keep the pan from falling between your grates if you use a gas range.PROS:The rolled lip makes for accurate pouring without dribbling down the side of the pan. Because the entire lip is rolled, you can pour using either hand and at any position (unlike the All-Clad Stainless Butter Warmer with Pour Spouts).CONS:It is relatively expensive (since one is paying for the copper).There is no matching lid available.

A treasure to hold

Perfect beauty - heavy in the hand, polished, a ring of copper showing through the base and a recipe for chocolate soufflé from Thomas Keller. It can't get any better. Except it can, because I can warm a perfect cup of tea or broth in it as well. I hand wash and wipe dry with soft floursack dish cloth. Then admire.

All-Clad Copper Core Butter Warmer Review

I must say I have purchased several thousand dollars worth of All Clad Copper CoreCookware and of all the pieces I own this one has a small problem that All-Clad seems to have over-looked :(The hole where they punch out the stainless steel handle has an extremely sharp perimeter edge that looks like they had never dulled and it can actually cut your thumb and or index finger like a sharp knife. I had a machinist friend of mine dull the area so it's fine now, but I was very suprised that they over looked it!The other holes in the bigger handles are much smoother as they were thicker and bigger inside areas. Other than that I'm happy as I am with all of the Copper Core cookware. Its very good high quality ware. Thanks, Randy
