Awesome!

I have the regular size and oversized for my 2 small(not tiny) dogs. These are great! They are comfortable, sturdy and le my dogs look out the window and curl up and sleep on long drives. Get the versions with a drawer. It is worth the extra $10. The drawer is long so it holds food, toys, leashes etc. I thought they were expensive but when I set out to make my own it would have cost almost as much for the materials. These loo like they will last a long time One of them is a couple of years old and its cover has washed up a little fuzzy, but that is ok. The bed part of the foam wasn't as cushiony so I added a piece of memory foam under the cover and it is as good as new.If your dogs are larger than "toy" size I would get the oversized regardless of how little they weigh. Your dog will aprreciate the roomier size! Amazon had the best prices- even better than ebay!

Love the Snoozer car seat!!!

I purchased the Snoozer Oversized pet car seat for our Westie...he loves to go for car rides. We had some long trips planned this summer and I didn't want him on my lap or my husbands the entire time. I ordered this car seat specifically because it will go either in the front or back seat, and allows Kramer to look out the window, which is his favorite thing to do while in the car...all while being secure in the car. He loved it from the first short trip....and usually sleeps most of the time. There is plenty of room for him to sit up or lay down and sleep. I would highly recommend this to anyone who travels with their dog.

A great and safe containment system for your dog!

I have two very wiggly and cranky dachshunds who love to ride on someone's lap in the car. I have tried other containment products, and either my dogs could twist out of them, or they would whine and wail because they couldn't be up front and look out the windows. They both love this Lookout car seat! It's plush and roomie (the medium is perfect for two mini-doxies) and they no longer have issues seeing outside in the backseat. It works perfectly with their Puppia vest harnesses, so I didn't have to force them in an uncomfortable custom harness. Most importantly, they are safer in the event of an accident. It's a huge lift of my shoulders.The seat is very well made and comfortable for the dogs. Every car seat I've priced at the petstore is so hard, I can't imagine a dog enjoying that! I like that the cover is removable in case it gets dirty and the pull-out storage drawer is a great place to stuff their leashes so I am not looking for them when we get to our destination. The seat gives my dogs a great boost to see out the window, which is a huge bonus in keeping them from fussing. Installing it is a snap. You take the seatbelt in your car and run it across the raised back of the Lookout. It clipped right into place on the first try and has been snug. Even when my dogs first fought it, the seatbelt stayed fast. Removal is as easy as undoing the seatbelt and taking it out.Your dog may be able to jump from the Lookout onto the seat of your car though. The strap that connects the seatbelt to the dog's harness adjusts to very short, but it slides back and forth along the seatbelt if you don't safety pin it in place. I found that having two dogs clipped in at once using a leash coupler often prevents one of them from bailing. Worst case, if one jumps out they are still attached to the seatbelt by their coupler and harness in the event of an accident. I greatly recommend this product if you have a dog that normally travels on a lap. It's the next best thing and you'll have great peace of mind.

You'll still make a mess...

The Booster Bath is everything it's advertised to be. It is sturdy and stable, though the walls of the tub *will* bend if a large dog leans against it. It's very convenient for those of us with large dogs and who live in climates that can be inconvenient to be hauling large dogs to get bathed (especially in your car...think lots of snow or rain). It's very convenient for those who have long-haired dogs because you won't plug up your bathtub. I attached a wire mesh balloon type thing to the end of my hose (which I can't do with my tub drain), so it catches all the fur. It cost less than $2 at the local hardware store for a pair. So the Booster Bath is great for me.BUT - don't think that this wonderful Booster Bath will make it that much more convenient that water won't splash everywhere. Expect a nice BIG puddle of water around you. And water wall-to-wall from your pet's shaking it all off. So if you have to do it indoors like I do, make sure you have a good big space that you can easily clean up afterwards.DO make sure the drainage hose is pointing down. It might seem very obvious to some, but I didn't realize until after the fact that the hose is self-draining can can't be placed "up" into a sink. It has to drain down like into a sewer drain or outside or into a tub that's lower than your Booster Bath. I had to have an extension made at the hardware store (for less than $10) because my basement doesn't have a sewer drain where I have my setup, but several feet away. In my case it's about 10-12 feet away, while the drainage hose that comes with the Booster Bath is only five feet long as advetised.However, I couldn't give it five stars because mine came defective: Two of the legs just would NOT fit because the part that receives the leg on the bath was defective. My brother had to force it in and help me put them on. I would have returned it if it weren't for his help and I would have been REALLY IRKED (so keep your box until you're sure all is well). And the little rubber washers that go on the bottom of the legs for traction were not the right ones and so they didn't fit. That wasn't a problem for me because I have the risers as well.These can be a VERY big problems because the unit is HUGE and it would be a big pain to have to return, but I never called customer services so I can't take that much off from the rating (accidents happen, and I didn't give them a chance to fix it). I found it was better for me to solve the problem myself if it was safe, rather than go through the hassle of replacing such a big unit.

Love this item!!

We have owned our booster bath for almost 1 year and we use it constantly. We have 2 Labs, 1 Shepard and a Boxer/Shepard mix on 5 acres. These dogs live primarily indoors thanks mostly to their Booster Bath. We ordered ours with the optional ramp and we have trained our dogs to get in and out on their own, which means no lifting and being close to 50 years of age this is a back saver when dealing with dogs in the 70+ pound range. The bath gets the most use just on rainy days in order to give the dogs a quick paw rinse before coming inside. Ours is set up in a corner of our garage so it is ready at all times, but it is light enough to take outside when giving 4 major baths in nice weather. We do the big baths indoors as well but some splash is to be expected, in our garage this is no big deal.We have and will continue to recommend this to friends and relatives. Everyone who visits and sees this tub expresses a desire to purchase one.

Booster Bath is a "Backsaver"

My 120lb. male Akita hates bath time. When its over I am soaked head to toe and my back is killing me. This bath tub is very well made and easy to assemble. Everything worked flawlessly. The harness helped to keep him under control and the height of the tub made the bathing easier all the way around. Bath time is faster and more efficient. The tub pays for itself within 4 baths if you have a large dog and usually take him to a commercial location. Money well spent and Amazon had the best price on the net.

Wally Loves His Hang Out

My Parson Jack Russell zipped right into this easy-to-assemble, sturdily-made, handsome log doghouse as soon as we put it in the yard! I've seen this kind of doghouse sold at more than twice the Amazon price - seriously a good deal. The medium size accommodates my dog perfectly, with room for him to completely turn around inside and stick his nose out when he lies down, and he's about 22" long with his paws stretched in front of him. It really does seem to offer some protection from the heat, thanks to the slightly raised floor. As an added precaution (our summers are guaranteed to get many over-100F days), we hooked up one of those under-eave misters and he's so happy to have a place to hide from the kids and still be comfortable. The wood is solid and attractive, the inside is very smooth, so no worry of splinters, and the finish has not faded in the sun or sprinklers. Also, the shipping cost was very low for such a heavy item, and it was delivered quickly and well-packaged.

Love it!

I was a little skidish to buy this because of its price. All of the other dog houses are much more expensive and I do beleive "you get what you pay for". But this dog house is awesone! The moment you open the box you get a burst of cedar smell. It set up in 5 minutes and was super easy. I didnt even have to read the instructions. It very sturdy and solid. And my 30pd Jack Russell/Fox Terrier mix loves it!

Superb clipper!

I have a Standard Poodle who is a little fussy about being clipped. This clipper does NOT get hot (HUGE bonus!) and I am able to take the dog outside and clip him anywhere he might be more comfortable, without having to search for an extension cord, and without the cord getting in the way of clipping. Outdoor clipping also helps with cleanup! Cordless makes it great to take anywhere I go. Also, the ability to change blade sizes with a fingertip, without having to find a new blade and attach it, is wonderful. Fabulous clipper!Update 3/15/2010: The clipper is still working - I have dropped it a few times, and generally have not taken very good care of it, and it still works great! I bought extra blades and I send them away to be sharpened when I feel like they're getting dull. If this one dies, I'll definitely buy another one!3/8/2013 - clipper is still running strong!

Easy to use

This is a five star product which is great for a one-star-just-learning groomer. I have a standard poodle, and decided it was time for me to learn to groom her myself when her haircuts cost me twice what I'd pay for my own! It doesn't stay cool for as long as I'd hoped, but long enough for me to get a lot done. This product has made a daunting task much less so, it's quiet so my dog stays relatively calm and she actually looks okay. A few more times, and I may go pro! Very satisfied.

Awesome clipper

I did a lot of research before I bought this product on which clipper to get for my new cocker spaniel puppy. I thought that the Oster A5 turbo and the Andis were the only way to go as far as high end pet clippers are concerned. Well after talking to the breeder that I purchased my puppy from, she recommended that I look into getting the Arco clippers. I was a bit skeptical about it being battery powered and the fact that it was 33% cheaper (compared to the Oster and Andis), but you can't judge these clippers by the price. The advantage of being cordless was a huge plus. It saved a lot of cleanup time by taking him outside to trim him instead of getting my bathroom covered in hair. Two batteries that last around an hour a piece are a plus too (although i'm not sure were to get new ones if they wear out). The clipper comes with a 5 position adjustable blade and 4 combs so you have many different options when choosing what style and length that you want to go with. On the Oster and Andis you have to buy separate blades to achieve the same effect. I've even been using them to cut my hair and since there a lot more powerful than my regular hair clippers they work like a charm. My dog sure appreciates them over my regular hair clippers since they cut through the hair like a hot knife through butter. They stay cool and are really quiet also so the noise doesn't scare him too much. In the end, even though i've never tried the Oster and Andis, I would still highly recommend these clippers to anyone.

Great little clippers!

I had a nice Wella Contura that I used for grooming my two little chinese crested dogs. Unfortunately, it went completely dead after six years of intermittent use, so I read lots of reviews, and settled on the Wahl Mini Arco because it was said to be gentle and quiet. The reviews were spot on! I am very happy with these clippers so far. They are a tiny bit wider than the Contura, but I can still shave the delicate curves and angles of a tiny 12-pound dog snoot with it.These clippers are nice and quiet, and it is so helpful that they can be used with or without a cord. They hold a charge well, and don't fatigue my hand with numbing vibrations or intense heat. Like the Contura, they will leave razor burn if you get too close, but that is the blessing and the curse with these. They trim cleanly, no hair pulling or uneven ends. They feel solid and easy to grip, very similar to the Wella. I almost feel like these are an artistic tool, allowing you to make the style as precise or smooth or fluffy as your ability allows.

I have another pair of regular size shears & they do a great job, however, I needed a pair to comfortably trim the face & paws of my Toy Poodle. These are perfect & I love that they are cordless. They were recommended by a friend & I will be recommending them to others.

Good shaver!

This is the first pet shaver I have purchased. Being a new groomer, I thought it was going to be difficult to groom my wiggly shih tzus. This shaver was nice and quiet and did a great job shaving through my girls thick coats. They looked like I had taken them to a pro after I was finished. I had to learn how to angle the shaver so it would shave but that was because I had never done it before and had nothing to do with the shaver itself. Great product!
