BLACK KIRYU is awesome

I own the normal Silver diecast version of this collectable of the 2004 Mechagodzilla 3 from Godzilla against Mechagodzilla/Godzilla Tokyo SOS movies but somebody stole my hand off it. THE HORROR. Anyway it is the finest of any of my Godzilla collection..well it was until I got this. The black version blows it away. Its the same thing with a repaint so its limited edition..but somehow it just changes the thing.There are a lot of parts to assemble and the rocket/backpack is still held on with one of the removable back spikes(falls off if you even just look at it)but somehow in black this thing just screams "I am expensive dont touch me!" and call me vain but when I drop 300 I want that. This has absolute zero in the box so this is actually the 2003 version of Kiryu (Mechagodzilla 3). If you get this I highly recommend some premium model glue used VERY SPARINGLY on the back spines and gun hoses for the hand weapons-just glue the end that goes in the gun and you can still remove the guns later if you want, but you dont want to lose one of those black hoses trust me.This thing is heavy and looks exactly like Kiryu did in the movies. A plus on details. The black carbon look to this version in my opinion makes the whole thing just look a lot meaner- maybe how Kiryu looked right before the sun came up when he tore up the city and ran off organic green Godzilla in the movie. Yeah if you dont know the story this is the REAL GODZILLA. The military recovered the 1954 Godzilla(Gojira) skeleton and built Mechagodzilla 3 over it with bio-computers. What they didnt know was G cells regenerate and Kiryu came back to life and kicked everybodies butt. I think this version is meant to represent that moment in the story, the "oh GOD its alive again moment" when it was dark just like this. BTW the finish on this collectable is outstanding, no flaws in the flat stealth black exterior finish.This is where i usually say buy it or it will be more later, well I cant because its limited so get it now if you ever want a new one.
