Looking for one purifier that does it all? The comprehensive UV Air Purifier employs all the technologies: HEPA, carbon, UV light and ionization. Phase 1 removes larger particulates. Phase 2 uses gas-absorbing activated zeolite to remove hydrocarbons, pesticides, VOCs, formaldehyde, solvents, chlorine and cleaning chemicals. Phase 3 strips air of odors and low-level gases with activated carbon. Phase 4 sends air through a HEPA filter that removes allergens, smoke particles and other pollutants. In the final phase, the air passes through UV light that kills bacteria and viruses. Infrared motion sensors control speed to reduce operating costs when rooms are unoccupied. A chemical sensor monitors air quality and alerts you to buildup of dangerous contaminants such as carbon monoxide. Indicator light signals filter change. Uses 110W on high. USA.

THE BEST OUT THERE

If you seriously need a great air purifier, and can afford this one, I highly recommend it. My wife is allegic to my cat, I have asthma, and we can't be without this. I don't trust ozone generators, and this is used widely in hospitals. I have had other air cleaners - this is much better, and quiet (use the sleep mode).

I bought this air purifier three years ago to replace another brand that was becoming increasingly ineffective. I live with four parrots, including an African Grey, notorious for producing feather dust; and two dwarf macaws, not native to the Grey's home continent and not dust tolerant. This machine does a great job keeping everyone healthy and happy. It is very quiet, has been running constantly ever since I bought it, and is simple to maintain. It sets up in minutes, the controls are easy to understand and little warning lights tell you when it is time to change the UV light and HEPA filter. I still dust and vacumn, but I don't have to do it daily anymore. Believe me if it works for birds, ordinary allergens and plant pollens don't have a chance. I specifically wanted to avoid ionizing machines and this fits the bill.

This is the second Ultra-Sun Air purifier for me. I like the smell of the clean air coming from the purifier. My first has run reliably for quite some time. This model has some improvements as it is the 20C. It seems quieter. There is no ozone output which is a problem I ran into with some that I had bought in the past. The purifier makes for better sleeping at night.
