GREAT!! product,I'm an Engineer for a BIG hotel, (MARRIOTT) in South Florida, and this thing is great for testing RJ45 cables and for testing for internet signals, tells you speed, 10mb and 100mb, keeps me from carrying my laptop from room to room checking for internet service, works great!!...HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Needs a better users manual to reference what you're actually seeing with the test, normal or abnormal etc, relabel ports like "to switch" "to device"

This will work on industrial Ethernet cables (2 pair shielded) or Profinet (2 pair shielded). The remote LED unit tells you if your pin out is correct (pins 1,2,3,6 and shield in my case). I think if more people knew about this they would not spend the $400+ dollars for a Profinet tester. Highly recommend!
