Esbilac undergoes more then 30 quality control tests to ensure the highest quality standards are met. All ingredients are food grade, blended under food processing specifications. Esbilac contains three highly digestible sources of protein which makes it an ideal supplement for pregnant or lactating bitches. Esbilac is available in both liquid and powder form. Directions: Orphaned Rabbits, Opossums, Guinea Pigs, Squirrels, Beavers, Chipmunks, Ferrets and Puppies: Newborn or severely malnourished: Mix 1 tablespoon Esbilac powder with 2 tablespoons arm water. Feed 1/4 - 1/3 tablespoon per 1/4 lb. bodyweight every 3 - 4 hours. Esbilac can also be fed to Weaned and Adult Animals. Pregnant and lactating bitches: Feed 2 teaspoons dry Esbilac powder per 5 lbs. body weight daily until 2 weeks after giving birth. I began raising Bernese Mountain Dogs about 6 years ago. I was only able to purchase small 16 oz cans of puppy formula. Being able to order this quantity through Amazon was more efficient for me. I was able to plan ahead and have enough for my needs. I will buy this product again for future puppies.

This is a good product. When the Dam developed mastitis and could no longer nurse, we were able to keep the litter alive and thriving.

I went to Petco to buy the formula when my Yellow had her litter. I got a wild hair and thought about purchasing on line. I was originally buying the 12 oz. and 28 oz. cans of powder. I would buy everything on the shelf with a bill running between 172.94 and 192.11 a purchase to feed 11 puppies. I asked at several other Pet stores and was told only the 28 oz. was the biggest can made. Well I can say that the 5 lbs bucket will save my wallet. Its cheaper and more for my money. Feeding 11 Lab puppies 4 times a day we go through 1 28 oz. can. Lets see them go through this 5 lbs bucket. THANK YOU AMAZON!!!!!!!!!!
