Superb!
By Martin Endara Crespo
I own other Audio Technica products in my home studio and thats why I considered adding a new one to suit my needs. If you are looking for a small diaphragm cardioid condenser mic look no further. This little mic is superb!Ive never had better captures of my acoustic guitar. This mic is intended to record acoustic instruments like strings, piano, choral groups, brass instruments even drums.Dont get fooled by its size this is a real monster. As with any condenser mic this requires phantom power be sure your audio card, recording interface /mixer has it or else buy a mic preamp or a phantom power supply.

FANTASTIC Little Mics!
By Andrew Natoli
Like many I'm sure, the size of this microphone initially turned me off. Given the opportunity to try out a pair from a friend that bought but never really used them, I decided to take them out to record a concert at a local high school. Band, Choir, Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble, EVERYTHING. These little mics blew me away! Incredible sound quality. I put them a little back from center stage in a Y pattern and they picked up a beautiful balance from all parts of the stage and their cardioid pattern minimized the coughs and chair squeaks picked up in the background while allowing enough applause to pass through. I'm in love with these mics and I go for them every time I record now. Don't let the size fool you!

Great little condenser
By JVincent
I use a pair of these to pickup ambient stage, room and audience sound to add some dimension to my band's in ear monitoring system. They perform flawlessly in this capacity. I'll be doing some recording as well and expect they'll be highly useful in a number of applications including acoustic instruments and drum overheads. Great little mics at a very decent price.
