I got my Davis weather station over 20 years ago. In August 1992 it survived a direct hit from Category 5 Hurricane Andrew with wind speeds over 177 miles per hour. It stills runs great. Davis builds a great product and they always stand behind it with free repairs if there is a problem. By Gregg L. Friedman MD, Psychiatrist, Hallandale Beach, Florida

The best weather station!!!
By Mike M.
I finally stepped up to the professional league with the Davis Vantage Pro2 Weather station. The unit is very well built, heavy duty, built to last for many years to come. Installation was straight forward and the documentation was easy to follow. Most important... the weather data is precise and accurate.

Geek Heaven
By John M. Currier III
Pros- Easy to assemble and install when directions followed.Cons- Maybe this is my fault but it wasn't until we got serious about siting that we realized we did not have a really good spot for wind speed and direction anywhere on our property. We are still always within about 20% of the wind speed and direction of our local tv station and maybe that is pretty good but I was a little dissapointed by that. Also, the directions were a little obscure about orienting things for wind direction readings but maybe that would be self-evident for the more advanced weather buffs this seems to be intended for. The included info display panel is a little hard to read but ok. I very highly recomend the PC interface software for a much more satisfying weather/data geek experience.
