5Excellent Product!!
By pandemonium music
This is a big solid, mutil-purpose mic stand,i use it for my studio and sometimes on stage, first of all it came in a package that wasn't even thattt big but when i put it together it was hugeee when fully extended with all the attachments, the stand is very adjustable, u can adjust it up, down, across, around! the stand can be adjusted from a height of about 4ft-6ft, the boom is very long it can upgrade from a length of about from 4ft-7& 1/2ft or more and it has a counter weight at the back for extra support, so it can hold some real heavy mics, i dont think there is a mic too heavy for it. the legs of the stand can be opened really wide for extra support. the mic stand is very very solid, i had it for over a year now and now problems, I've used it almost everyday, i moved it around and around. i have and 10 pound thing at the front of the stand alone with my mic and it doesn't even affect the balance or anything, this thing is so awesome i even tried making a camera crane out of it :D of coarse if failed. but its excellent product! would recommended and i would buy again!!

5Solid unit, tall, well built
By RJ
I bought this for an upcoming live broadcast and wanted a stand that would be tall enough for me as I'm 6'4" tall. This stand certainly fits that need and then some! The unit is solid, heavy duty, can take pretty much whatever you put against it. I especially like the tri-feet support. You can adjust the unit in so many ways that would could easily hang a 20 pound microphone off the boom end and with the counter-balance weight and large foot-print for the stand, it won't tip over. The only 'con' I'd see is that is is a large unit and you will need floor space to fully utilize the potential of this stand.

4A big boom , but not quite big enough
By D. Grise
Great boom, just wish it were a little larger- a little more reach is wanted sometimes.nice solid mechanical feel. Counterweight works well to balance boom. Steady, feet(tri-pod) take up some space.
