great reel

easy controls. very strong. i've pulled out large bass and you can crank the fish to the top with ease. combined with the right line, you can cast this thing a mile. i've made it past 90 yards fishin with a guide out of port o'conner. works well in the wind. of course if you cast directly into the wind you're gonna backlash. it doesn't remove the need to be able to throw a baitcaster... it is a beautiful reel. matched with a great rod i get compliments on looks alone. as for durability, after using one time, my friend was admiring and dropped directly on the concrete. i kicked him in the nuts, picked up my reel...and it worked the same just with a few new character marks.digital works well. allows for cast control and distance in varying conditions. you can use more brake and reduce the backlash until you get more used to it. but simply put, this will reduce your backlashing and increase your fishing time.i found mine through an amazon reseller for about 330. the size is larger than the low profile bait casters. and i own many reels. this is by far my favorite.
