Collector doll

A beautiful, rare, one of five hundred Barbie. If you bought it for an older girl she would understand the doll would have to stay largely on it's stand. She's pretty much a statuette by reason of expense, but it's worth remembering if you drop her she won't shatter! She's inspired by Irish myth so she could open a door to a rich land of imagination if the girl was given access to stories etc. I've always loved Irish fairies. The doll itself will last, clothing and crown etc will of course suffer if she is played with too much. I love her but I am an adult collector and my sister's little girls will only play with her now and then, but neither do I agree that a doll shouldn't be used as a doll at all. I loved them too much as a child myself, it's too sad to see a doll in a box. She is well worth the money spent on her, the value will continue to climb because she is a platinum label barbie. I did invest in her. She displays very well too.
