These units are real friends!

I have been climbing for over 20 years, and I still remembered placing my first friend, which was clanking around on my rack of hexes and nuts. I've seen some nice advances since Ray Jardine's prototype hit the market, but the variable size range offered by the link cam is the best advance that I've seen yet. These units definitely help lighten the rack, and are perfect for clean aid climbing on big walls or for general cragging. The trigger action is very smooth, and the trigger cables are very durable, unlike other cams, where the trigger cables unravel quickly with heavy use. I highly recommend the link cam.

great panic piece.

I love placing this cam because it will fit almost anywhere. The two reasons for the three star rating are: 1. it is heavy as hell, and 2. the recall from the nut coming off doesn't really inspire to much confidence. I keep it on my rack every lead, though, just because it is so easy to place in a hurry.
