Large and stunning addition to house

This outside light fixture is much prettier than the picture shows. It's quite large and has rich looking beveled glass inserts between the metal pieces. It appears to be hanging loose from the metal support hook, but doesn't really. The globe is securely fastened to the back support plate and just gives the illusion of hanging free. That seems a safer and more stable option.The bottom is open--an opening large enough for my hand to get up in there to change the light bulbs (it has two 'candles' that hold two narrow stemmed light bulbs). I can also clean the inside of the glass without having to unscrew and disassemble a closed bottom. Even though it only holds two light bulbs, it seems brighter than other fixtures I've used in the past--probably because the 'hood' is also glass rather than solid. It supports 60 watt bulbs, but I use 40 watt, which seems plenty bright enough.This is a very attractive addition to my front porch. I've also seen a version of this fixture in a brass finish. It definitely makes a statement.
