Well worth buying.
By L. Motok
I think its becoming increasingly apparent that the Toybiz LOTR line of action figures is coming to a close. The sudden explosion of giftsets are perhaps a harbinger of that fact. However, although most of the gifsets released are complete repacks, The Pellenor Fields set along with the Lothlorien set include some exclusive figures. This particular giftset includes THREE, which makes it well worth buying. This set includes five figures: Two repacks; FOTR gimli and a Helm's Deep Legolas variant; and three new figures: The Mumakil Rider, Soldier of the Dead, and Morranon Orc.GIMLI: Ugh. This guy is in every gifset. Same old FOTR gimli with axe-throwing action. He comes with three axes, a helmet, and a cape. Articulation is severely lacking; Toybiz needs to release a Super Poseable Gimli.LEGOLAS: Actually a pretty nice figure, although its yet another Legolas. He is a lot better than the originl Helm's Deep Legolas, that's for sure. They finally resculpted his hair, so it isn't sticking straight out behind him. He is actually most similiar to the Legolas with Arrow-launching action from TTT wave 4. I just don't understand why they put in the HD version, since this is a Pellennor Fields set. Comes with the usual Legolas accessories.MORANNON ORC: Nice figure overall, even though he's a little cheap. He's a direct repack of Grishnahk with a new head. The worst thing about it is the helmet; it's sculpted onto his head. However, he makes for a good army builder.SOLDIER OF THE DEAD: This guy is awesome. He is FAR SUPERIOR to the King of the Dead. They abandoned that stupid "glow-in-the-dark" paint and actually painted him right. His articulation is excellent, and he could easily be classified as "super poseable". He really looks like a soldier of the dead, and I don't think you could ask for much more. He comes with a sword and a shield.MUMAKIL RIDER: The best of the set. Awesome in every way. His painting, detailing, face sculpt, armor, everything about him is perfect, and shows exceptional quality for an "exclusive" figure. His headsculpt is exceptional; he looks exactly like the rider from the films, right down to the leering expression. His armor is incredibly detailed, and just looks beautiful. I'm not quite sure what the thingy on his back is, but it sure looks cool; and it is light enough so that he stands up fine with it.Worth buying for the three exclusive figures, and those who enjoy customizing should be able to do something with the Legolas and Gimli. Buy it, you won't be sorry.

Great set with some awesome new figures
By Kelli
This set includes five figures, Legolas, Gimli, Morannon Orc, Dead Soldier, and Mumakil Rider. Gimli is a great figure. He's much like the other Gimli's, but he's still great. Legolas is also a nice figure. This one has a different expression than other Legolas figures. That's always nice, considering most Legolas figures look like clones of each other. The Morannon Orc is a very sturdy figure. He's really ugly, but I guess that's expected since he's an orc. The Dead Soldier looks a lot like the dead soldiers. I don't know how well he'd pair with the king of the dead, considering the king of the dead is glow in the dark and this one is not. I really enjoy the Mumakil Rider. It looks just like the guy from the movies. He has the same insane expression on his face. If you are looking for a set chock full of great figures, this is the set for you!

Great collection
By J. Dennis
All Lord of the Rings sets should contain more than one exclusive character. This set is the first to deliver. Three exclusive, detailed figures are included. Most sets feature four repeat figures that no one wants and just one exclusive figure for a high price. This set at least is worth the price. Keep them coming like this one.
