Easy install but included tool and screws are junk.

This was a very easy product to install - both the hardware that mounts on the ceiling and the portion that connects to the projector were a snap.However, the included "security screws" and matching tool that are supplied are really poor quality. Immediately, with very little pressure (just loosening a screw) the tool broke. It's a hollow hex wrench, so a trip to the hardware store was necessary to find a replacement. They didn't have a replacement because it's an unusual item but I was able to buy a bit that could be used with my drill. Then, one of the screws used to attach it to the ceiling joist broke off while being screwed in. This was after following the instructions on the correct pilot hole to drill.Once installed, it's easy to adjust and works well. But Peerless could supply some better quality pieces that are required for use.

Easy install.

This is a great projector mount. Great build quality and adjustments are nice and simple.I would have loved to have given this 5 stars but the wood screws that come with the unit are really low quality. Thankfully I had read J. Abeles comment on his screws snapping during installation. As I was installing the screws one of them started to bend, at which point I aborted the installation and headed off to hardware store to buy some quality screws. So if you buy this, do yourself a favor and buy a couple of quality #14 x 2.5" screws from your local hardware store.Peerless, it's time you found a new supplier for your mounting screws!!

Easy and great product

Sturdy and comes with a wide assortment of screws to fit a wide variety of projectors. instructions were straightforward. One thing to be sure of is to remember to center it according to the projector's center of gravity...which is not often the center of the projector itself.
