noise eliminator

It is very effective as a noise eliminator but rather expensive for a strip of plastic. The mounting clamps can interfere with the mounting clamps of the other devices for bike mounts, etc. I would consider fabricating one myself for the price.

No Whoosh

When I purchased a Yakima roof rack for my tall SUV, I wasn't aware how noisy it would be. The fairing solved the problem - no more whoosh. It was easy to install and looks great! I'm eager to see if it improves my mpg (as touted on the product carton).

I was skeptical when adding this to my rack but 2 days after installing crossbars on my honda civic hybrid, I couldnt hear anything but witd and I watched my gas mileage plummit, so I invested 30$ into a fairing and back to "good as new" condition. If you have a yak rack, get a fairing!!!
