good motherboard when used with a high quality power supply unit

this PC Chips M863G board didn't quite work at first as there was no on screen video, no beep and no POST. turns out I had to replace the existing AMD processor chip and memory chip with ones that are fully compatible with this board and I had to replace the no-name power supply box with an Enermax 460w kind and now the M863g board works as expected.in short, the M863g board I bought works well as long as a reliable name-brand PSU (like Enermax, Seasonic, Corsair, PC Power and Cooling, etc.) and compatible CPU/RAM chips are used along with it.

Great motherboard with an excellent price

Have not had any problems whatsoever out this board. Has all the features needed for an average user. I used it to replace a fried eMachine board. Definite jump up in the right direction.
