My aging Hamilton was no longer able to hold my 42B without slipping, so I tried this one. This stand is definitely up to the task. Adjustments to stand height and bell depth are easy and secure. Highly recommend this stand!

This is the most stable stand out there for bass trombones and is not much bigger or heavier than the ubiquitous Hamilton stands I've been using for years. It is definitely worth the extra money.
