I love this labler, it is so handy
By W. Sellars
It is very portable and has an extensive set of features. The cartridges are a bit expensive, but I knew that before I purchased it. The biggest problem is finding them locally or without ordering directly from Brother (because Brother is retail prices while most other places are not)... but it is very difficult find what you need from one source. Even though I love the size of this... I would love it even more if it was a little bit thicker to support and wider labels as well... this would make it a truly versital and exceptional product. I love being able to just grab it and go know it is is charge up (working batteries). If something ever happend to it I would purchase another one with no hesitation.

Great Machine!
By Paul L. Fletcher
I have had my Brother P-Touch 18R label maker for over two months and have used it a lot. I have a wood working shop at home that I am rehabbing and I use the Brother P-Touch 18R very frequently. I label drawers, shelf edges, tool containers. In fact, if it's in view and is not moving, I label it.It's handy and helpful around the house and garage, also.It has a QWERTY keyboard, is easily portable, and works with your PC. I admit I have not tried it yet on my PC ahd probably will never. I use it so much as a portable label maker that I have not had the time to install it on my PC.It is easy to recharge the battery. But, BEWARE! Amazon.com offers such a broad variety of waterproof tapes for this label maker. They come in a rainbow of colors, and several widths. You may find yourself, as I have, like a kid in a candy store wanting it all. But, I STRONGLY recommend against using ¼" wide label tape, unless you have a very small place on which to mount the label. Print on the ¼" wide label tape is barely visible. Small places normally need 3/8" label tape.I enthusiastically recommend the Brother P-Touch 18R, without reservation.Brother P-Touch PT-18R Rechargeable Labeling System
