Serious Case for owning...

I wanted to get my wife a gift that would be both practical and have relevance. She is in culinery school and has a number of knives. She has recently discovered the joy of Global knives and it seemed appropriate to replace the case that came with the knives she got when she enrolled at school.I was concerned that this would be a dull boring gift. I could not have been more wrong! She was delighted to receive it. But when she started moving her knives into the case the real value came through. The case is laid out beautifully and has tremendous capacity. She is able to store all her knives, kitchen uniform and cap, and even some class materials.The inside and outside of the case are very austere and professional. It's made of quality materials and gives off a very professional appearance. We expect it will last well past the courses she's taking, which of course was the whole point of buying such a case.If you have someone that has "Coach" handbag tastes, then this will surely make them happy if they have a set of kitchen knives to store and transport.

I was cautious about buying a knife case this expensive. The more I use it though, the more I like it. It fits everything I need for work, including whetstones and books, with space to spare. I've had a couple of knife cases and by far this one has been the best.

just got this today. the pictures do not do this justice. this case is built sturdy enough to hold the constitution. there are lots of sleeves for knives and pockets for sharpening stones, honing rod, business cards, etc. I like how the knives are secured in place with a foam style pad and a hard pad to protect them. if you want to protect your high end (and high dollar) knives this is the way to go
