Another error, Wake up!

Here's another 4.4lb bag of dog food that does not represent the normal "regular" price. At that standard per pound price, you could be buying the juiciest prime filet mignon and get to watch man's best friend become even a better best friend! Wake up Amazon!

Excellent dry dog food!

I scrutinize dog food ingredients because we own 3 Bulldogs. I noticed one of the reviews that said this dog food was recalled, it was not recalled, it was the Avoderm that was recalled. I watch these recalls like a hawk at dog food advisor. This dog food is great because it has natural glucosamine (not having to supplement with cosequin). It also has Vit D3 supplement, I don't know of many dog foods that put D3 in them. Since Bulldogs are heat sensitive (mostly indoor dogs) they do not get as much sunshine in the summer, the D3 helps supplement the need for sun. Bulldogs can be somewhat allergy prone, the lamb and rice is excelllent for allergy prone dogs. We had one of our Bulldog allergy tested. Of course each dog is different but without doing this I would have not know that chicken, white potatoes, alfalfa, oatmeal are postive allergens for one of ours. As good and comforting/nurturing as oatmeal sounds to we humans it did not prove so with our Bulldog. I preferred doing the allergy test rather than a food trial taking so long. Therefore, this dog food fits the bill. I hope it stays reasonably priced because we will continue to purchase this food as long as it is never on the recall list. I can not say enough good things about this dog food and am thankful I found it. Breeder's choice knows their stuff!

This is the only food our 12 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback has ever eaten (plus a single square of Kraft American cheese daily as a treat and a few chicken breast treats.) Kramer is in great health and people are always amazed at how fit and strong he is. That he still has all his teeth is surely attributable to the Active Care hard kibble diet and the near absolute lack of any signs of arthritis must be one of the benefits of the "healthy joint formula." Both Kramer and I cannot recommend Active Care highly enough.
