This is my dog's favorite bed (other than mine). It is especially nice for older dogs because of the "egg-crate" foam used on the bottom, and my dogs all love using the bolster/pillow. The bolster also helps keep the wall clean. This is our second bed of this brand - the first one was totally worn out after 12+ years of use by three wheaten terriers (one at a time in the bed). I like the poly-suede cover, too.

My dog like this, she can rest her head on the sides like a pillow. I agree the bottom isn't thick enough, it should be about an inch thicker, but it seems to be made sturdy and should last a good while.
